Willingness to show appreciation or consideration.

I agree but you can respect someone without ever meeting them personally or ever talking to them but just being aware about them. So you could never show that person appreciation or condideration.
Yes you can Minxy....in a forum like this for instance. You can respect anothers opinion and try to show consideration for the feelings of others when you post and just now someone showed their appreciation of me in the mistletoe thread...so I think it can be done virtually as well as in person.
Sorry Kenty I have to disagree with this...
Why does a hotel seem seedy? The first hotel we had a meet in was a lovely hotel and the bed could have slept 4 people with no problems. The room was amazing with a fab view absolutely nothing seedy about it.
We had a meal beforehand with the lady concerned partly because it was a mealtime and partly to break the ice. The whole thing was enjoyable and fun and we all paid our way. We were not doing her a favour and she was not doing us one so why should any of us pay for the other?

IF we did though decide to have a meal, Mrs 777 would not pay, so the bill would be shared between the two guys. A hotel room I would never pay for. As a couple we hold most of the cards, tough but true.
I don't understand this at all. Why would Mrs 777 not pay? and why would you not pay for a hotel? Why would you expect someone else to pay for this for you both if all 3 of you were going to get enjoyment?
If the guy does not want to play by our rules, then we do not play...funnily enough we have never found a guy yet, who does not want to play by our rules.....funny that.
and this I find amazing  So much so that I don't actually believe you mean it??? If you do mean it and I was a guy who was seriously considering getting together with you two, this would stop me dead in my tracks. It says that you have no respect or consideration for me as a person and feel that I am only good enough to have sex with you if I pay first
Hi Mistress
Hope he is on the mend as quickly as poss and that you are able to have a happy Christmas.

We had an appointment today with daughters school. It was supposed to be an appointment to see the head master. We spent most of the appointment with the head of year and the key stage 3 co-ordinator making excuses for the reason that things have'nt been done over the last two years re her being tested for dyslexia and dyspraxia and about 5 minutes where the head came in and said "oh that all seems to be sorted out then" and then swiftly departed to go on to another meeting.
They have now looked at her results in tests and at her last report figures and have decided that there is definitely reason to believe that she may have both conditions. This is supposed to be a school of excellence for dyslexia and despite the fact that I have been asking for nearly two years they have only just, after we insisted on seeing the head, deigned to look and see if there is a problem......
To say I am fuming is an understatement. I half wanted to cry when they told me there is probably a problem but the other half wanted to say maybe we can help her now instead of calling her lazy, disruptive and uninterested.sad
They have told us they will push for the tests to be done next week so we can see to what degree she has the condition/s so again we will wait and see......
This should perhaps be in the steamroom but if I go in there, there are so many other things I am raging about that I would be in there all night evil

Further to this post which occurred last Friday I rang the school yesterday to find out whether we were on target for the test to be done this week.
I got a call back from the school's special needs department and was told this:
"I don't understand why you are waiting for a dyslexia test Mrs Fire ? Your daughter has been on our dyslexia register since last year"??
So I have, for the last however many months been pushing for someone to take us seriously and stop putting my daughter on report and start taking notice of her difficulties, only to find that she is on their dyslexia register but none of the teachers had been given this information. Her head of year was not aware either and also the key stage 3 co ordinator didn't know
To say I am furious is an understatement. She has been getting into trouble for being distracted, being distracting, forgetting things like homework, ingredients for cooking and PE kit for the last 6 months and I now feel like the worlds worst mother because if I had the courage of my convictions I would have helped her more instead of half believing that she was being purely lazy. :(
Fecking school mad
