It was a composite of research that has been published in various formats over the last few years. It neither proves or disproves either nature or nurture. Which was a tad disappointing for those that are dependent on making sense of their sexuality rather than accepting it.
I was particularly interested when the scientists told him he was straight and he reacted with horror. Surely if he is living and loving a man that is all the evidence he needs that he is as gay as a gay thing.?
Let me put it this way. If I say that I am gay today and straight tomorrow and queer the day afterwards then I am. I am anything I want to be. I can wear any label I am comfortable with.
The challenge and issue for people in society (whichever one they belong to or live in) is when other's put labels on them and they don't match with the one's that they have chosen for themselves.
When I first came out everyone that I classed as friends dumped me. That caused a lot of anxiety and stress and as I built up my friendship circle again I chose gay people. It made it easier for me to know that I would be accepted for me. I do have a small minority of straight friends but I don't readily socialise with straight people as they often say offensive and ignorant things (unintentionally). My sexuality becomes an issue for them.
My 'label' is only an issue for others.

I think we already have an unoffical feedback system in place on this site. I have friends , you all have friends and like it or not we all gossip to varying degrees I would say unless the experience has bin horrifically bad and i'm not talkin about ppl having to cancel , or finding that ya didnt really fancy the pants of one another after meeting most ppl wouldnt be derogitory about others anyway so i dont think there would be any advantages to having an official system .
:shock: I honestly try not to. I don't think there is anyone on here who knows exactly who I have met/done rude things with or not and I intend to keep it that way!

Ooh Nola I didn't see this post you quoted :shock: and I can categorically say that at NO point no matter who I am talking to do I ever gossip about anyone else on this site and I would be mortified if I thought anyone else did about me
I do have friends on here and yes I like talking to them, but think that on a site like this discretion needs to be an extremely high priority.

This has always held a certain fascination for me since a very young age. I remember being about 3 or 4 and being desperate to go to to the loo and not being allowed until I finished the cup of tea I had whined and whinged for. By the time i got the the stairs I was needing to go really badly and only got about half way up before wetting the stairs 
Much much later in life, in my fantasies, the desperation of the moment came back to me and was for some reason a huge turn on and continues to be sometimes. So for me it's not the being pee'd on or peeing on someone else, but the needing to go and holding back idea that does it for me. Even a picture of a woman desperate to go or having had an accident can do it too

I know I'm getting cynical in my old age I suppose, but I'm definitely leaning towards LP's point of view on this. I was born, I am here and I will die. I'm just a bunch of cells that just happens to be here and one day won't.
My bunch of cells have evolved enough that I won't inflict or cause pain to others knowingly and I won't use people to my own ends. I really hope that I have passed that on to the little groups of cells that I have given birth to.
