Indeed. As a phenomenon, it's been around quite a while.
I suggest you Google "bluejacking" and see what you find; there's a lot of info out there! It's been used as a very sneaky way of sending relatively untraceable flirty messages and I know people who've had great fun with it but the main problem has to be the significant security risk if you're in range of someone who knows how to bluehack and you have an open bluetooth connection. :shock:
Personally, I never leave bluetooth active on my phone anyway - and frankly for no other reason than the fact that it just drains the damn battery far too quickly! rolleyes

Mobile phones can be very vulnerable - people don't yet think of them in quite the same way that they do their internet-connected PCs, but in some ways the risks are even greater because of that! Mobile phone viruses have been around for a while too and with phones being readily connected to PCs for uploding photos and so on they can be a sneaky back door for those who write and propagate malware. mad

Secure your phones, boys and girls - it's the only way!

I use mine because it goes with my username. wink

Changing avatars is fine but I often find it quite useful to visually flick through a thread - and spotting avatars can be a much quicker way of seeing who's saying what than checking all the usernames, so consistent avatars are a bit of a bonus! lol

Now, wasn't there a dreadfully long (and clearly, UNfunny :wink: ) thread on this subject started many moons ago by davej...? Time for a little BUMP perhaps...?

) but, in fairness, I agree. There is a place for something like that in the profile if that's what people want to do but no reason why the majority couldn't be in a gallery.

Phredd, it was getting kinda damp and mildewy down there - so much so that the chains have rusted through...! wink

Once I'd finished fighting off the rats with my little toe all I had to do was use one of Dawn's dropped hair grips to pick the last lock! I would have stopped off to have a martini by the jacuzzi on the way out but, frankly, the state of the place is diabolical - do you lot not tidy up any more?! Newbies... tut(!).
So, all change up here in the bright light of day then?

I make no claims to be anything other than moderately (or even marginally!) above average on either length or girth but some of the concepts in this thread sound WAY beyond the pale to me...!

Hey, All...!!
I feel like I went away (which I did) but then came back to a totally different home. It shouldn't feel so weird, yet it does!
In many ways, I'm not chasing the whole single-male-looking-for-a-shag thing, more that I just remember the cameraderie and the zany sense of humour that was the core of the forum - anyone who was around for the "DaveJ avatar challenge" or the "thread-hijacking" episodes (how MAD were they...?!) will remember that!!
It feels a bit like following a cult band that suddenly makes the big-time; everyone knows their first commercial single/album - but only the old die-hards remember the early albums...!!
Ho hum - such is evolution, I guess - move with the times or die out!! ;)
For those of you who don't recognise my username or my avatar, well, I used to post in here relatively regularly about two years ago (my God, was it really that long...?!) but faded from the scene for a while. Now that I'm back I'd really just like to say "Hi" and that I hope you're all having a really good time and finding exactly what it is that you want in here...!! ;)
