My prediction is that the manager has no plan b....in fact his plan a is rubbish as well.
On the two performances so far we deserve to go home, and boy will they get slagged off in the papers tomorrow.
Total and utter rubbish.

That was 'Plan A'????
Well that was complete and utter bollox!!!!!!
Prediction for England v Slovenia - 1-0 to Slovenia
The only people earning their money tonight are the ITV commentary team trying to find something positive to say about England! lol
Pundit comment of the night so far - "well at least the Germans lost 1-0 today....."
Postive suggestion of the night - "adopt the Brazilians"
Negative suggestion of the night - "c'mon England!!!!"
Best suggestion of the night - turn over and watch Eastenders
Well I've got the match on ITV HD, I was expecting to see England v Algeria but for some reason I seem to be watching Staines Town v Yeading Rovers...... dunno

We only add people to our 'Friends' list that we have physically met face-2-face.
People that we are 'interested' in or are interested in us go into our favourites list.
That way we only Vouch for people that we have met. We don't get 'vouch' requests from people who have been added 'just because we accepted a friends invite' this means the vouches we do give and receive are both accurate and genuine.
Although, I am having difficulty in then understanding the reasoning/point behind SiteRep's, this just seems to be an open invite for people to send speculative mails, hope to get a reply (see also the responding to mails thread) from us only to then find a SiteRep request in the SHrep inbox which (we then delete....)is asking for feedback on someone we've just said 'no thanks' to. If we are going to have a SiteRep then at least have it track something other than how many mails can I get a response to.. SiteRep should go to the members who add the 'value' here - starting forum threads / hosting chatrooms / reporting bugs etc..
Do we have SHrep 'on' - yes we want to give genuine people (single males/females & couples) good feedback and show others that they can have confidence in these members. We also want people who look at our profile to see that we are also 'genuine' and have confidence in contacting us.
Do we use it as a 'definative' way of selecting people to met - NO, we have other criteria which are more important to us, we use it purely as an additional item of information on that person.
Predictions for England v Algeria
for this one i'm going with the head again.
So, my prediction is England 3 Algeria 0
But, it depends on who's in goal!

I will try and answer your questions as best as I can on understanding them.
1. Once a comment is made it cant be edited
Ouch! We've had a case where a meet went really well (a good SHREP) only to find a week later that person turned up again unannounced (bad SHREP). I'd certainly want to either delete the 1st SHREP or at least edit it to reflect the subsequent behaviour!!
2. You can use Shrep without the friends function at all. But ONLY friends can Vouch for your profile.
3. The SHrep page is public but does not have to show anything other than your SHrep bar score. It can be put not to display anything, or can be friends only or by private invite. The SHrep bar also displays on public areas of the site like photo adds etc. You have a widget if you use other sites and want to use the SHrep system on them that will point back to your main public SHrep page as well.
Ouch! Not keen on this at all - will have to see how it works in practice!! I can't see any reason why a non-member should have any need to see/have access to this information in the 'public' space...
For those who might have missed it:-
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/assets/documents/shrep_002.pdf
Looks good but have a couple of questions:-
Can one edit/recall/delete a comment submitted at a later date?
What if I want to use SHREP but not the 'Friends' function (we only use the friends function for genuine 'SH friends' not as a 'my list is longer than your list' feature.)
Can SHREP be seen by non-members? (the screen shots in the .pdf would suggest that this is the case)?
I've just had to give a lecture to some 6th form students on this very subject! lol
The UK is in debt to the tune of £167bn, made up of short, medium and long-term debt (in the form of government guilts and bonds).
The revenue to repay this debt comes mainly from taxes and duties from the UK population and companies trading in the UK.
The 'core' of the economic problem at the moment is that the day-to-day running cost of the country plus the repayment of the borrowed money and interest exceeds the income from taxation and duties. In laymans terms we are spending more than we earn and there needs to be a rebalancing/refinancing of the budget to keep the UK's credit rating.
As most of us have had to do in the past year or so, we've cut our own personal expenditure to match what we are physically earning (including any benefits recieved from the state).
Relating this to the current political scene, the Conservatives/Lib-Dems want to repay this 'debt' at an earlier point in time than Labour do.
To do this, the government has a number of options (1) 100% of the short-term debt is paid for by increasing taxes and duties. (2) they reduce government expenditure to cover the debt. (3) a combination of 1&2.
To avoid all the 'full pain' falling on either the public buy raising taxes and duties, or on the government's budget by cutting state funding and benefits it will be done by a combination of the two (which is the option proposed by Labout/Conservatives and the Lib-Dems) - the question is what % of split will fall on which category.
The Conservatives want to repay £6bn as quickly as possible, this will 'shift' the % added to the taxes/duties to a lower % than a Labour Govenment and increase the % taken from not starting/deferring/reducing government direct expenditure. The labour part wanted the reverse to slightly reduce the government expenditure and increase the taxation and duties.
What the professor is worried about is that if too many cuts are made on the government expenditure is that this will lead to greater lay-off's in the public sector and some 'large' infractuture projects that generate 'wealth' in the 'private' sector will not happen and business confidence will be affected - sending us back into a 'recession' (negative growth) and that the debt level (government short-term borrowing) will increase at a faster rate than we can ever repay (a la Greece) - in his words the 'Death spiral'. This would lead to a downgrading of the UK's credit-score and ultimately cost the government a higher rate of interest to borrow money - which then leads back to either more increased taxes/duties or more cuts in government expenditure to 'balance the books'.
The clubs review pages on here are a very good starting point for independant feedback:-
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/clubs/
Make sure you pick a club that caters for your 'taste' - check out their web-site and see if it has the facilities/nights you're looking for...
Most clubs on your 1st visit will give you a guided tour, advise you of the club rules etc.
There is no need to play - if you're asked and you're not keen, a polite "no thanks" is usually sufficient. If they persist look for a member of staff and report it.
Always take your own supply of condoms - never rely on anyone elses....
Don't over-do the 'dutch courage' before going....
Happy clubbing wherever you end up lol
The site rules are clear on this:-
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/assets/Munch_and_Social_Guidelines.pdf
Munch Rules – IT SHOULD BE A NON PROFIT AND NON COMMERCIAL EVENT
Social Rules - IT SHOULD BE A NON PROFIT AND NON COMMERCIAL EVENT

http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/terminology/munch.html
“We have a strict rule that anyone organising a Munch on here is doing so solely for current and active Swinging Heaven members, and is not promoting, colluding or otherwise involving any other website, club or group. Only people from Swinging Heaven who have been specifically invited are allowed to attend the Munches that are advertised on here.”
Is there a cost involved?
“We all love a freebie, but you may incur costs for buffets, DJs, hire of the room, door/bar staff, etc. We do not allow any functions which are run to make a profit. However, we don't expect you to be out of pocket either! Don't just think of a number and say you'll keep the balance or give it to a charity. Work out costs per head. In the past it's been OK to 'pass a hat round' as the only source of income for the night, to put towards the cost of bar/door staff or the DJ. OK, but don't do it several times during the night for each category. Once and once only.”

So, anything that is put in Events or the Lets Meet forum that describes itself as a ‘Social’ or a ‘Munch’ must abide by the above site rules. If the fixed cost is known before hand then the listing should clearly state a ‘fixed fee’ e.g. a Camping Social where the pitch fee is known and the catering costs (if supplied) are budgeted would be fine. Members can then decide if they wish to part with the fee and attend or not.
Where Clubs use the Events or Forum to advise members of up-coming ‘commercial’ gatherings, then these posting should clearly state the entrance fee charged by the club on the night along with any ‘restrictions’ on entry that may apply. These should remain ‘free’ as advice for SH members – if we go down the road of charging for these then quite rightly the clubs will want to highlight these ads with their company logo’s etc. Again members can make their own decisions on attending or not…
Maybe we need a new category of site membership to identify ‘commercial’ memberships and thus only those accounts would be allowed to post ‘commercial’ events if a standard site member posted an event that is clearly designed to ‘make profit’ then these could be deleted by the forum mods…. If there is a question over the ‘reasonableness’ of the proposed charge then the mods can discuss that with the posting member as to why this is – it maybe that they are ‘day renting’ a flat or house to host that particular event…

SH is a bit like a 'relationship' - you join and have that first 'flush' of love and lust, then you settle down to a more in-depth period of 'getting to know', followed by the 'family and friends period (less meets but of a better quailty). Some get divorced (leave), those that stay have 'spats' (love/hate) times, but in the end its the glue that holds us altogether in the Swinging Community.
Some are 'distant realtives' (those at the opposite end of the country), the 'extended family' (the locals),'friends' (help and advice on just about everything lol in the forums/chatrooms).
So, for us, it's just an 'extension' of our vanilla life - both valid, both enjoyable and a bloody good de-stress from 'work'. banghead
These days it all seems to be about 'instant gratification'!
When we get one of those types - instantly add them to the 'ignore' list!
