Nola,
What a good post subject. When I first joined the site way, way back as a single male comming out of my second marriage, motives were the usual - uncomplicated nsa sex (not that I actually managed to find it lol ) but hey, the site and the opportunity were here and I was free and single again!! blink
Over the intervening years, I've put my posts in the forum, chatted in the rooms, gone to the socials and hopefully not upset too many people on my journey through life.
After awhile, the fantasy slowly turned into the reality and the nsa wasn't really what I was looking for talking the talk wasn't walking the walk
A few months away on an ordinary dating site and hey presto, a date was arrange and my Soul mate entered my life. kiss
Fast forward to one of those late night heart-to-heart chats in bed and I mentioned my membership of SH. The "oooh that sounds interesting" reply caught me straight between the eyes!
A number of conversations later, we had a new Couples profile and were back with a vengance  a few meets were arranged, mostly great (a few disasters) but we all learn from our mistakes..
We've re-written the profile (countless times) as we have progressed over the years, looked at new horizons, made not only swinging friends but also a number of personal friends. Had highs and lows, fun, excitement, made our own relationship stronger, added our input where we can and helped those members where we could.
We both still swing (not as much, but that's us being a bit more selective and experienced these days), enjoy the 'banter' of the chatrooms, the views of others in the forum posts and the social gatherings of the like-minded.
Many thanks to everyone of the SH Community - long may it continue. passionkiss

Call me when Valentines is over!!
Good evening Bartender.
As it's the eve of Valentines and Mrs Gu needs a serious loving drink tonight, we will have a bottle of the Shipwrecked 1907 Heidsieck Brut please along with a selection of your finest soft centred dark chocolates and a single red rose for the table decoration.
If the kitchen could knock up a dozen Oysters it would be much appreciated. lol
To disable the IM

To detach the IM box from the bottom of the screen:-
Click on the /^ icon on the Online Friends window.

To view a friends profile:-

As Mrs Gu is in the 'trade' so to speak:-
Choose your surgeon very carefully and ensure you get personal recommendations from previous patients.
Depending on your prescription, you may still need 'reading' glasses after surgery.
If you're the 'sporty' type especially in 'high-impact' sports laser surgery is not recommended.
Hope that helps
This should solve the problem. It's legal, costs nowt and should also improve your BB speed:-
Only if its the '47' my good man. I find the '53' a little 'tart' on the palette.
One must maintain ones standards. lol
As I had the last bottle of the Petrus the other week the Moulton will have to suffice in these lean times.
Mrs Gu asks - where is her coffee?
Good evening Bartender,
Sidles up to the bar with tonights order...
A bottle of Mouton-Rothschild 47 with 2 glasses, a supply of your finest Tuscan Green Olives and a cup of Kopi Luwak coffee (black) for Mrs Gu as she's the designated driver tonight.
drinkies
As with all things in life Trigg, the good things take time to achieve.
As stated in previous replies to your thread the site has a number of ways available to achieve your goal. Posting in the forum, the Chatrooms, replying to the adds etc. each has its own fan-base. Some of us even use all of them! :smile2:
After looking at your profile, check out the Surrey or Southcoast rooms usually on Chat1, they're usually a good bunch of people. Join in with the 'general banter' and make connections. It's a good idea not to enter a room and post "look at me wanking on cam" it a turn-off for nearly everyone including the males! or the'classic - who's looking for a shag?'. If that's your approach join a room that more closely suits eg Wankers on Cam. For most rooms the 'normal rules of conversation' apply - say hi, follow the chat threads and join in when you feel comfortable..
Check out the Events section for socials / parties etc or the Lets Meet forum and get yourself along to a few socials and get yourself known as 'genuine' and as a 'contributor' to the scene.
Create an ad(s) for the different sections that appeal in the Photo Ads and update them regularly - the trick here is to keep your ad(s) on the 1st couple of pages that people search. If you don't your ad will slip down the pages.
Look at the Club page and see which are local to you - there are monthly SH events held at both Abfabs / Eurekas and Hellfire which are all fairly close to you.
If you are looking for a particular 'fettish' then look in the Groups for groups of likeminded SH people.
Search the 'profiles' for people in your local area that meet the criteria you're loooking for - read their profile carefully and formulate an individual reply that aligns you to what they are looking for.
Above all - it takes TIME and EFFORT, the more you put in the more you'll get out...
The 'deposit' is based on the Grade of car you're hiring..
The 'deposit' is taken at the time of the hire agreement being signed (when you pick-up the car). At this point the value of the deposit is removed from your available credit balance on your card, when you return the vehicle the 'deposit' is returned to your remaining available credit. The same applies with Hotel deposits.
Basic mandatory insurance is part of the hire and usually covers 3rd party ONLY (depending on country). Without the additional 'top-up' insurance you will be liable to Hertz for the difference in the repair bill if you have an accident. Taking out CDW covers the 'excess' payment. If you are hiring in the USA or Canada it is worth taking out the full insurance package or if you don't feel comfortable with driving in a foreign country.
Well from what they're showing it looks like a cross between Strictly Come Dancing and that Can you dance thingy - so the public votes for the best looking wheelchair, buckeled wheel, some may even vote for a good dance!!
Paralympics - no problem, I enjoy watching them as well and the shere skills of those atheletes. But voting....... leaves a bad taste here. The words 'crass' & 'humiliating' spring realily to mind. dunno

I have recently got into swinging and have found that Couples have domination over swing clubs, sites, chat etc..
What do you people think?
Here are some of my thoughts on this matter!!
1. Most men want a mff or mfmf as there fantasy? Very few want mmf??
2. Lots of women are bi so in a couple situation the female tends to want the females and most are in couples!!
3. Most if not all clubs let in single females free??? BUT CHARGE SINGLE MEN £20 to £25
I could go on but I personally think that there should be a strictly SINGLES only SWINGING WEBSITE NOT SINGLES and SWINGING club with even numbers of male to female ratio so that there is more fun for all.
Answers on a post card lol

1 - Loves a good MMF here, or a MFM or any other combinations of M's & F's!!!
2 - Errrrrrrr Nope
3 - Send me a list of these Clubs - £20-25ffs! Cheapest around here is £50 - £85
Having just watched an advert for this upcomming series on BBC3, this just seems completely 'wrong'.
I am not against disability (we have a family member who is wheelchair bound) but this new series seems to be a 'TV step-to-far'
What do you folks think?
Trainspotting on Chertsey Station?
Spot the Meerkat at Chertsey Meads?
Guess the accident at A&E?
Night racing at Kempton Park?
Night rowing on the Thames?
That's let all my favourites out of the bag!!! lol
Everything changes in the name of:-
Progress
Cost Cutting
Improvement
Value for money
Re-branding
etc, etc.
"Change IS the only constant - embrace it" as the saying goes... lol
Is there a case for a 'retro' site for the old guard????? dunno
A sort of non-swinging, meet friends kinda place - oh that's Facebook!!

As people who play I`d just like to make absolutely clear that if we wanted a verification system we would use a site that had one.
Seems perfectly reasonable to me ...there are plenty of sites that have identical facilities. This one was different but has been changed by people coming along and joining and then whining about it being different to other sites !!!!!
If you disliked it so much why did you join ???
Use your perogative ....leave and join sites that provide what you want
Just out of interest.....when you buy a car do you phone the makers after you`ve bought it and complain that it doesn`t have the same specs as another make of car ? dunno

biggrin
So, why does next seasons model have a better sound system, included sat-nav, wider wheels or a 'face lift' etc... it's called CHANGE It keeps the manufacturer up with the latest developments in safety & comfort for its client base.

Where's the poll?! dunno
Oddly enough I'm with *him* - Cadburys is better for a really big binge. Galaxy is too sickly for one of those!

Good point - where did the Poll go???
