Whilst I understand the 'reasoning' behind having a non-adult picture uploaded for use on SH and that a selection of ads / events and forum postings are used as 'tasters' of the sites content for prospective new members, We might not want our genitals plastered all over the web is precicely the reason I also don't want our mug shots plastered there as well!!
There is no reason that the site cannot code a 'default' image (eg the site logo flower) instead where the profile picture would normally appear on these non-member pages..
And yes, an endless stream of Sausages and Fish Sarnies floating across my Home Page people who've view my profile or those I might be interested in does show a certain lack of flair on some members behalf when selecting a profile photo, it is infinately more interesting than the default 'gray-out' now appearing..
As a full member - I want to use an 'erotic' photo to catch the attention of other members and find others to swing with and increase our success rate! Unless of course I can find away of grafting on a Cumberland Sausage Ring :grin:

Nobody gets it right every-time including Chatroom Ops! We all make mistakes (well Mrs Gu Mk1 & II were). We all learn from these mistakes to make us better in the future.

Would I do it - Yes, if I felt happy that I was doing it for the right reasons and could provide the commitment. No, if it's really a burden that would get in the way of why I'm here.

Abfabs is a Swinging Club / Party Organiser that uses the premesis of Kestrel Hydro in Stanwell Moor near Terminal 5 at Heathrow.
Web site is
Abfabs operates on Friday and Saturday evenings from 21:30-02:00. Fridays are Couples & Singles nite. Sats are Couples and Single Females only nite.
There are a number of seperate areas, the main house with private rooms, chill-out area, dance floor with pole. For the smokers, there is a covered heated area outside. There is a small cinema with sofas, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, lockable play 'cabins', and the stable area with a number of different themed rooms/areas. towels are provided for the pool/jacuzzi/sauna area.
Parking is available and supervised.
The club operates a BYO drinks policy. Soft drinks tea/coffee/water/ice are provided free. There is plenty of storage fridges for beer/wine etc.
There are coat/valuable storage at the main entrance.
For membership visit the site and download the application form and take it along with 2 forms of ID on ur 1st visit along with the 1-off membership fee and nightly entrance fee (cash only)on the night.
Also, from the web site follow the link for a 1st time booking which is your ticket and directions (no cost 4 this) and it will be emailed to you.
we've also sent you an invite for a SH couples nite on the 31st Jan if you would like to come down and meet a few couples from SH.
There is no pressure to play on your visits, take ur time, look around, have a few drinks, relax, enjoy the facilities and play when you feel comfortable.
When we joined, we didn't play the 1st night, just absorbed the atmosphere and had a relaxed time. if you do have any problems just speak to a staff member and they will sort it immediately!

The Chatroom Ops are a dedicated team of voulenteers - but people will reach a point where 'enough is enough'. We were lucky and have an 'Extras' account and could access the chatrooms via the extras lounge. It was quite frankly appalling watching some of the comments posted that night that the 'on-duty' Op had to endure and was even worse the following day when the bulk of the users returned and the morning op also had to take the flack. It is a testament to them that they did so with good grace and professionalism.

We are members of a number of similar sites as a lot of other SH members. When this site is not available it does get discussed on other sites. We can see the effect that these conversations have on non-SH members and the negative perception that creates. If we were sitting on SH and people from another web site came on moaning - what perception of that of that website would you have?
Personally, I wouldn't like to argue 13.4 in a court of law. We appreciate breakdowns happen, software screws up - that's not the point! We all accept that it does, the point is that paying for a service to be provided consitutes a contract in law in the UK - 3rd party providers are not exempt where this forms part of the overall package at the point of connection.
Bilge! - if I understand you correctly..
In English contract law you can contract out (or in!) anything you like. Sue ex-parte if you like, but it will cost you dear and there is little chance of success. Remember that the other side's costs could be against you! Unless the Contract can be held to be unfair within the very strict terms of legislation defining unfairness, your chances are very slim. They probably become even slimmer when the contract provider has to rely on third parties over whom they have no control themselves.
As an example, Microsoft acknowledge that there is about 10% bug-rate in their software (presumably after SP2
). With billions of lines of code in their software - much of which relies on 3rd party additions, that amounts to a sizeable possible down time but you don't see many (if any) successful lawsuits against them!Many people complain about Microsoft software, but billions still use it worldwide because, for the most part, it suits their need. I don't see the SH issue any differently; it's the de-facto industry standard that everyone talks about and tries to emulate - as indeed you admit!

How much does it take to put on the main site - Sorry the chatroom logon server is currently down our hosting company hope to resolve this within the next few hours?
Those that don't read the support post and try and logon, only then have themselves to blame!
