I had my nipples pierced a few years ago - no problems, and increased sensitivity. I have barbells.

A big plus for me, though, is in Summer, when I wear a T shirt. When chatting to people, it is pretty obvious where their attention is. I love saying to them (particularly women!) "my eyes are up here!" 🤣
