I can understand your feeling that sometimes you might be interrupting 'the regulars'. It is very difficult for new people, I'm sure, and I can see that the forum would sometimes give the impression of being a 'closed shop'.
There are people on here who get on well with each other, and quite naturally there will be a lot of banter between those people. But life thrives on new blood being added all the time, and we need new people to come along and add their contribution. Diversity is what makes life interesting.
I really hope that now you've taken the plunge, you'll stay. :D

Why don't you post?
Is it that none of the threads interest you?
Or is it fear of ridicule and flaming?
At any given time there are loads of people browsing in here, but so many of you never post, and I really do wonder why.
Maybe some of you non-posters could take the plunge today and tell me what puts you off about posting. I, at least, promise not to flame you. biggrin

My other half has had a similar experience. He is only on here to have horny chat with ladies, and he really got into the conversation with this woman, so much so that they arranged to meet in a private room later that night. Needless to say, she didn't show up. He pm'd her, politely, but had nothing back even though she'd read the pm. He then bumped into her a few days later in chat again, and they again had a long, horny conversation. They again arranged to meet in a private room later that night. Guess what?
We've since found out from friends on here that they have also been wound up in the same way by the same person. One poor guy actually arranged to meet her for real, twice, and both times she didn't show up with no explanation.
I really do believe that there are some people on here who get their jollies purely by winding people up for their own amusement.

In the chat room the other night I got a whisper from a couple saying they liked my pics. I said thanks. I was then asked if I fancied a meet. I did a quick check of their profile and replied that I was sorry, I wasn't Bi, so wasn't interested. It was then suggested that we could still meet and the female would just watch. I replied no thanks, I didn't do one on ones. I was then told that it would be worth my while to reconsider, and how did I know I wouldn't enjoy it until I tried it rolleyes

My daughter is planning to visit London in January with a friend for a weekend of sight-seeing.
Can anyone suggest a hotel, fairly central, that
1............is suitable for a 16 year old to stay at.
and
2...........won't break the bank!
I am concerned about her, but I also don't want to tell her she can't go, and knowing she would at least have a suitable place to stay would go a long way to easing my mind.

I'm a fatalist. I truly believe that when your number is up, it's up, and there is nothing you can do about it.
We had a terrifying incident a couple of years ago that made me feel like that. Scooting back from Matlock Bath one day we were just approaching a bend when a car came flying round it from the other direction, totally out of control. It hit the bank in front of us, spun off, crossed back over the road, hit the opposite bank, spun back over behind us, bounced off again, and finished up in the ditch on the other side of the road. If we had been just a couple of seconds earlier or later it would have taken us out and probably killed us.
It wasn't our day to die.
