All the search facilities on here are a bit dodgy. Also the "people you might be interested in" section that comes up when you log on. They must be selected at random. I am a single male but at least half the "people you might be interested in" have NO SINGLE MALES in their ads or profiles.

Slightly off subject here but I have heard of a number of cases of women being abused for turning offers down. Does the site have a policy for dealing with this. Did you report the individuals concerned vodka? And if you did what action was taken?
Re. the original question yes of course this site works. Like vodka, I have met some of the very best people on here. But the site is made up of people and as they say there's nowt as queer as folk. They come in all shapes and sizes.
No one is born swinging and at some point someone has to make that first move into the water. People do get scared and back out. Yes there are those on here who are just cam watchers and pic collectors who would run a mile if confronted by a real couple, but I think most people who pull out of meets do so because they just can't go through with it. Some on here do complain about people not being honest about their intentions in advance but to be fair, it is sometimes only minutes before a meet, with their heart racing, that a person realises that it is not for them. And no-one should continue with something if they are not comfortable. I think that this will always be a problem with swinging. A shame really as I have seen so many people go through hell psyching themselves up for a meet to realise after they have taken that step that it is not only not scary but is actually loads of fun. And for every one of those people there are countless others who don't cross that wonderful line.
Most people, particularly here in the UK, spend their life in the world of fantasy. We are the ones that step over that line and make our fantasies reality.
Yes swinging sites do work, but only for those who want them to.

When I used to swing wth a partner, it was mainly organising groups of guys for her. She was a very greedy girl and it used to be a great turn on watching her. Tan is right again (as always). There have been countless studies done showing that predatory abusers are actually much more of a danger underground than out in the open. Also it has to be said, that most of the hanging, flogging and burn their houses down brigade don't actually give a fuck about protecting children. They just seem to revel in having something to shout about, cheered on from the sidelines by the Sun and the News of the World.
A bit of human compassion is actually a good thing, not a bad thing.

It actually came out of an attempt to find the ratio of single men to women on here, for something I wanted to say in my profile. I thought search would be a good way to do it but it's results are not always consistant as mentioned above.

When searching for single females, about 20% of the results are for women who are part of a couple. Is this a flaw in the search facility or are people being sneaky with their profiles?
The other thing is does anyone know a good word to use in search to find the profiles of black women on here? If you put 'single women' and 'black' into search, the majority of results are for 'white women looking for black cock' And why have so many black women been banned? Is it one person re-registering or lots of people with similar names? And if you put 'slut' into the search, nearly half of those people have been banned. If people have been banned, can it be fixed so that their profiles don't come up in a search?
Apart from those minor gripes, this site is fantastic.

As has been pointed out before in this thread, some of these ads generate literally hundreds of replies. Do you seriously expect someone to go through all these ads sorting out the ones with photos and do a reply to them all? If a woman puts'pic guarantees a reply' once, I very much doubt she'll do it again.
General advice for all single men:
Your mailbox has a ] box. If your message is marked as and you haven't had a reply, then take it that the woman has read your reply and is not interested. It is not the law that she has to be interested!
Even if you have done a brilliant, well thought out, witty reply and you look like George Clooney with the cock of John Holmes, she just might not fancy you.

I think the answer is yes to both of those questions. My job allows me to play with a lot of women/girls who would not be out of place on the cover of a men's mag. (including a couple of minor celebs who have been on the cover of men's mags!:shock: ) On here, I tend to go for the older person and as we all know, bodyshape can go a bit strange as we get older.

What people are trying to say, I think, is that to paint Paisley as a democratic politician who stands above the violence on either side is extremely disingenuous as he has stood as a figurehead for Loyalist paramilitaries for decades and has done little, if anything to use his influence to stop them. There is widely-held opinion in the north, that Paisley was very much involved in the economic bombings in the late sixties (particularly of the Silent Valley Reservoir in Co. Down) but no real evidence. Looking at the politics and history of the time it would surprise me if Paisley wasn't involved.
