Just saw this thread so congratulations on starting your course again. As far as I'm concerned any money spent on training nurses is money well spent, as we certainly need them. Wishing you all the success with your course Helen. You will certainly make an excellent nurse, not just because you can pass all the exams, but because you actually care about people.

Well I''ve just about recoverd from Saturday night so......big thanks to Babe1 & PeBbLeSnDeMoN for organizing another great munch! That's three top-class munches in a row I've been to recently and this one was up there with the best of them. Real nice venue, great crowd of friendly people, copious amounts of cheap larger and even the DJ played Metalica! :P Oh yes...and some very convincing PCs & WPC's in attendance. 
I had a cracking time and it was a great pleasure to meet up with old friends and those I hadn't seen for a long time in particular. Thank you all for the snogs, the drinks, the ciggies and your time and company. Especial heartfelt thanks to Venus & Mars and Neilnolongerinleeds, all of whom I hadn't seen in ages and was a real pleasure to meet up with again.
Finally, a very big thanks to Mr & Mrs Pleasure, who are two of the friendliest people on SH, for giving me a lift there and back...many thanks you guys.
I think that just about covers it, except to ask...when's the next one?

It's a far from an easy job putting a munch together and I'm sure we all can appreciate the enormous pains Steph went to ensure that this munch happened. Things were looking a bit dubious at one point as to whether this munch may go ahead, as you all know, yet Steph, ever resourceful, managed to pull it off (stop sniggering, you at the back!) I know she was touched by seeing everyone enjoying themselves, which for a munch organizer is the foremost concern. To see it all fall into place after all the hard work and effort is reward in itself and leaves you with an immense sense of satisfaction. So thank you one and all, you all did her proud just by turning up and having a good time.
So what a totally fantastic munch this was! Excellent atmosphere and all round friendliness. Great to see so many of the munch bunch out there on the dance floor and really enjoying themselves.

Yes and they offer you a lousy £15,000 starting pay which is poverty wages if you live in London.
The recruitment process takes 9 months whilst they do a personal and background check, starting with what you had for breakfast to what colour knickers your grandmother wore when she first met your granddad.

Cheers Mr.D for the heads up on NIN's 'With Teeth'. Just went out and bought it yesterday, played it and yes, it's everything you said about it, a classic. I'd say it's comparable to 'The Downward Spiral' in many ways, musically and lyrically, or simply for the reason that all the tracks are total quality.
