Personally I liked Tim Dalton.
He showed a new vunerable side in 'Licence to Kill' which was lacking in the other films.
Sean was brill and Mr Brosnon has done a good job but the effects have become the star of the movies. If rumours are true the next one should be interesting but it is all still rumours! Is it Brosnon or a new actor? Will it be Tarentino directing? Is it the original Casino Royal? We will have to wait and see!

Well for me it has to be Connery, but one of my favorite Bond Film's is OHMSS. Shame George Lazemby didn't stay on as I think he would have become more accepted as Bond, I'm sure. Timothy Dalton gave it his all and was a good Bond, although he was hindered by the PC awareness of the producers, effectively playing down Bond's sexuality. Brosnan is an excellent Bond, though I think he doesn't deliver the jokes as naturally as Connery (that's because the jokes in the early films were Connery's ad libs rather than scripted).
The next film will be Casino Royale and will be directed by Martin Campbell, who directed Goldeneye, Brosnan's first film of the series. Casino Royale was Fleming's first Bond novel and apparently the film is going to portray Bond asjust joining the 00 section! Not sure how they will manage to do that as it's not going to be a period piece set in the 50's. Looks like they want to introduce a new face to the audience, but they are having problems finding a suitable replacement. Latest news is they are considering asking Brosnan to come back! It's all up in the air at the moment, yet pre-production is underway and the release ofCasino Royale is scheduled for release in 2006.

Yes, Son Bou is/was last time I was there. You might also like to try Santo Tomas which is another large beach. If you want to get off the beaten track and do a bit of exploring there are plenty of small beaches and coves which you can have to yourself. I'm sure you will find there are lots of opportunities for a bit of nude sunbathing. Just don't forget to use the sunblock (especially on those delicate bits). wink

Hmmm...yes, first track, first album by Sabbath. But I wouldn't say it was depressing, just atmospheric and dramatic.
Must say I love 'Hurt', originally written by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, from their album 'The Downward Spiral'.

I'd just like to say it was great to see so many happy faces and I was so pleased people came and enjoyed themselves and made it a success. So a "big thank you"to all of you for turning up and making it all happen.
It was great to meet for the first time Libra-Love, Horous, Biwelshminx, Shelly, Red (RHG), Nottslady, Kbuk, Ange65, Chipy (hope you are feeling better mate) & lots of others. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I hope we can do it again sometime.
I had a great time and I'm still buzzing from last night. Well, actually I've just spent a lovely afternoon having a pub lunch with three very loveable and looney females. Thank you for inviting me out, I had such a great time this afternoon having a post munch chill out. You know who you are. :wink:
Also, many thanks once again to Mr & Mrs . Pleasure for providing a lift home after the club. :thumbup:
I really enjoyed putting this mini-munch together and worked conscientiously to make it a safe and enjoyable event for everyone. I'm so relieved everything went soothly at the munch,without any problems as far as I know.
Once again thank you all for coming to this event , especially those of you who made the effort to come from other parts of the country. I'm quite moved by the support the members of this site give to these munches and socials. If you thought it was worthwile and you had a good evening, I'd certainly consider doing another one in the future if people want me too.

I think David Tennant is a charismatic actor and I've enjoyed seeing him in Casanova, which I thought was a lively production. Be great to see him in the role of and I think he will make it his own. I also hope Billie Piper will stay for the next series 'cause she's just right for the role in my opinion, as well as being a cutie.
Overall the new series is in the tradition of British produced science fiction drama, lacking all the polish of American productions but nevertheless entertaining and even quite scary at times.
