Its a really tricky one, if I had £5 for every time this was discussed I would be on a beach rather than writing this. 
Firstly there are really good reasons for and against a system to help with this. On the plus side it MIGHT help with timewasters if you had some way to leave a feedback somewhere.
On a negative point like ebay if it was left without a just cause that person might feel alienated or get upset for good reasons.
Maybe a voluntary system is an answer so people can choose to have it attached to their accounts.? Basically something where the people accept the meet and after they have met they can tick a box to confirm they met and that would establish a possitive/negative number, providing they both used the voluntary system(But this would need to be very carfully designed to avoid exploitation)
Im not really sure what are your thoughts? I dont want to pour petrol on the fire so can we please keep the remarks constructive. :D

Its an old banner (probably pre takeover), it was never a link exchange lots of random sites link to us in one way or another or display banners to this site mainly because they use it and love it . I can understand your point but pysically I cant try to find, visit, and ask any site that someone might find offensive to remove a link or a banner, for starters last time I checked there were 1000s of them listed in the search engines. even if you could do that you would need to review every one of them regularly. I have communications opened with the Adult adventures site but that is as far as I can go really.
I dont think it is soley the site development that has made some of the old guard leave. People come people go, and a lot of them still use this site on the quiet . I have seen some of the splinter sites splinter themselves a few times now as well.
All in all everyone knows there is no place like home.. :P

I did not check every page of content on the site, nor have I on the Lingerie and Toys one. I have spoken to the owner of the Adult adventures site and we will see if we can remove or edit certain pages from their site from view from people who get there from this site.
Anyone who knows us knows we dont knowingly support escorts, paid sex, etc etc. I need someone to PM me and tell me what pages to get removed. I dont swing so I am not aware of the problems you just pointed out.
