I've found, from my experience, that a lot more females like bimales than are put off by the 'tag'. I know some prefer only straight males and wont meet bimales (which is a bit like asking for someone who is lefthanded and not considering those who are ambidextrous :lol2: ) why hide your lights under a bushel?
Being bi means you have more colours on your palette!

Mal with respect I think Davey knew it was a bit of light banter aimed at him....nothing more than that.

With respect Kenty, others may see it and not know it was an 'injoke' between the two of you and think you are getting away with something you shouldn't. I'd hate to think people thought we were favouring some members over others.

The weather forecast for this weekend doesn't mention any rain, snow, sleet or caravans - perfect for biking!
Anyone fancy a ride out somewhere either today or tomorrow? I'm in the Milton Keynes area but riding's riding, so happy to join up somewhere else. If not riding yourself, any suggestions for a destination? Ace Cafe maybe?

The other problem I see is that the 'no directing' rooms are the entrance rooms to the servers. If people crowd in one of these rooms because of a lady 'showing' and encouraging directors, it blocks anyone else going into that server and all the other rooms. I know there are overflow rooms, but if someone is encouraging directing in there as well, everyone is stuffed!

Totaly agree that when new cases crop up they should be discussed but shouldnt it have been discussed and then something put on the forum to say that the rules are being bent to see if it works or not, rather than letting it be posted and then discuss it afterwards.
I think if this had been the case then it wouldnt have caused such a stir, I'm sure that the Mods and Admin must have had plenty of discussions with members in the past regarding making a profit when organisisng a social, (I know I have) which is why I objected.
A little forthought and consideration to the paying and non paying members would have been a much better way to have dealt with this situation.

You're probably right, Gillian, but hopefully we can take on board these comments and move forward in a more positive way for the benefit of the members.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and i don't mean that flippantly, but we learn from mistakes.

The problem would be his ability to read this site out there. I very much doubt, for security reasons, that they would have wi-fi, so wherever he is on t'internet, he is likely to be overlooked. The other problem is that they often have security blackouts for internet and phonecalls to stop information reaching the UK ahead of official sources. This prevents unnecessary worry for relatives who may hear rumours, rather than official sources, about the death or injury of a soldier.

I agree it would be a good idea that whenever there is a change in the AUP, it is posted in a thread in the forum, not for comment, but just for info.
The site owners are always looking to find ways to improve the site for the members - you. They are willing to give something a try to see if it works and allow you the opportunity to make the choice yourselves, rather than the choice being made for you. In this case they are looking to give you the choice as to whether you would like to choose between a minimum cost social (where there is a cost, but only enough to cover expenses and not make a profit) or a full-blown profit making social. An idea would be to have a new forum purely for the socials which are obviously profitmaking to keep them separate from the current style of socials/munches that are posted. There are probably still some tweeking to do to get it right for you, therefore at this moment in time, no need to change the rules. Once the right format has been discussed and worked on, then we have a model to move forward with.
For instance, if someone advertises a social at his or her home and charges an entrance fee which will obviously make a profit, then you personally will decide whether that cost is justified to you, we can't say if it is justified on your behalf. You might think it is good value for money, others will think it's a rip off. Each member will have their own opinion and whatever it is, it's right for you and you vote with your feet (or wallet!!). If no-one goes to these profitmaking functions, then members will stop posting them and we revert to what we have now. If they do go to them and are happy going to them, then they will continue and will offer to those members who attend them, another option that we don't have now.
As for charging them to post them, I'm sure the site owners will look at that, but my feelings are that it would be impractical to change the general membership fee for thousands, based on on a very low return from these types of posts, just to give something back to the membership as a whole. If they were charged for posting them, they are likely to increase the charge to the members attending to recover that cost.
I've just noticed that, whilst typing this, Nola has posted and I agree with what she has posted passionkiss

Mal has some good ones... allegedly. But he's on his jolliessad

No allegedly about it!
Some of the better ones included:
Female tied to as chair and oral sex is performed on her by the 'guests' and she has to guess who is each one. They never get it right, but hey - who cares!!
Musical chairs - except there's no music. The aim is for the female to get her partner hard enough to get inside her, then does exactly that. first in wins, but it's not the winning but the taking part that counts
My alltime favourite - most oral sex in 60 minutes (or longer) Each player has a score sheet and to add a name to their list they have to perform oral sex for at least 5 minutes. They can be scored out of 3 for each person (why out of 3? Tie break :lol2smile
Male on female, male on male, female on male, female on female - it worked an absolute treat! lol
Still on my jollies, returning next week - and it's bloody hot here!!
