Our usual room users found the new chat such an annoyance with being kicked and cams not working, we went back to the old chat and that has just broken too! Fabby.
BUggered if I cba to read 11 pages of problems but I've only been on this chat 5 bloody minutes and I'm already pissed off with how slow it gets and then getting booted ... so it would appear from the whinging in the main room, that everyone else is feeling it too.

The only people that ever whinge about cliques are the ones not in it. Wherever groups of people come together, you will find cliques. Work, the pub, whatever. Not everyone wants to be one big happy family. Not everyone wants to be everyone's friend. they're quite happy with their own group.
You say "most men" are polite or whatever. Try being a single female. I think you'll find "most men" are ignorant twats who think you're only there for their entertainment. "Most men", in my experience, are rude, disrespectful, sulky kids that can't take no for an answer. I appreciate this makes it hard work for the decent guys but it's kinda tough shit, really. Preach to the idiots that cause the problem not the ones that react to it.
FWIW, I do try and talk to new people but more often than not, it doesn't really get beyond "hello how are you" before they either clam up or move onto someone better looking/easier lay/bigger tits and never acknowledge you again. What's the point? I'm here for me no one else, just me and what I want. If they can't put in the effort, why should I?
I don't think Northerners are more friendly, we're just gobshites. We'll talk about anything and everything to anyone who'll listen and if they don't, we talk to ourselves.
The chat in the main rooms such as the Beach Bar usually flows well ... although it helps if there's tits on cam.

I can see the benefits of being able to block people in chat.
In the old one, you could put them on "ignore" which was handy but I think the fear is it might create even more clique-ness (yes, the dreaded C word!)and that could drive people away from using that facility at all. Not good for business!
I used to be an avid letter writer. I wrote my friend when she moved away, several penpals in the Uk and abroad and some guy in prison :shock:

When I rejoined the site, I decided to keep it as it is sooooo me!
I've used loads of different avatars on other sites, mostly to do with my username on that site.
I tend to just google "avatars" or the specific word I'm looking for in google images.
Sometimes I might accidently come across a pic I like the look of and right click it for future reference.
