I havent been to a school reunion as I dont now live in the same area as I went to school and it was years and years and years ago.
Last year, by total fluke, I made contact with an old school friend who was my best buddy until my parents decided to move (yet again) out of the area. We kept in touch but over the next couple of years lost contact.
Im so glad we are in touch again. Its been a brilliant year and we have laughed, giggled, cried and shared each others problems.
Amazingly we shared the same married name for a while, complete with the same initial, our husbands names were the same and we had children in the same year. It just conincidence but kind of funny anyway.
She is my best friend and I am so glad we got in touch again.
Not too sure about a school reunion though.........dont think my menopausal emotions could cope with all excitement

We dont go in for one offs and the way that we play would make it difficult for a 'married' to carry off the pretense for too long.
However, there are alot of unhappy people in this world, in unhappy marriages and unhappy lives and who the hell am I to judge their personal circumstances.
There is nothing stopping a married person from saying they are single and keeping to that story. At least if they have married on their profile, you know where you stand and can make an informed choice of whether to initiate contact or not.
The moral highground is not a place on which I enjoy sitting.

I used to use the chatrooms alot, mostly the Bristol Room. With a profile name like mine its a little bit more difficult to stay hovering in the shadows, so I didnt hover for long and soon got chatting.
Lots of fun, happy people, a few irritations but I am not averse to ignorning whispers if they are rude.
I popped into Bristol room the other day and there are lots of new faces and few of the old ones that I remember.

I dont think I could get away with saying im a novice :shock: but for what its worth I would use a chair, some soft rope, a blindfold (improvise if you dont have one) and a commanding attitude :twisted: if I was a beginner.
Where I have initiated beginners into the fold, I have often 'pretend tied' them. I wrapped the rope around their wrists or/and ankles but, if they wished, they could easily 'undo' them. I think that what you have done is one of the most touching and compassionate things I have heard for a very long time.
It takes a very special person to do what you have done and I dont think you should spend a second more of your time beating yourself up over it.

I love high heels but its funny how specific they have to be.
I like very, very high and very thin heels. I especially like metal ones. (Heels that is, not shoes lol)

Love the touch screen which comes with a stylus for those like my hubby with very big hands - oh err missus.
But seriously its great, I love it and Im not usually impressed by gadgets.
Its got GPS too so comes in handy when your off to those remote meetings and find yourself in the middle of no where. Now you will now where you are even if you dont know where the others are cos its not that clever.
But you can always send them an email using the phone if you dont have their mobile number, but chances are they wont be home if your not!
Anyway, I love it and am still getting used to it.
