I lived a full on BDSM lifestyle for many years. I studied the psychology of BDSM from the Dominant, Submissive, and Switch perspective for three years and I have also experienced submission to the extreme!

I myself am Dominant, for sure; however I felt that it was important to understand the mind behind the individual need, from every point of view ;)

I know, from personal experience, what every submissive feels, because I have felt it myself, and allot more intensely.

Many BDSM sites and chat rooms are dangerous places in my humble opinion; BDSM is misinterpreted, misused, and misrepresented by way too many people who think they know what they are doing.

Submission is not about abuse, a sub needs to be cherished, respected, protected and loved.

For me, Domination is not about being on a power trip, it is not about ego, for me it is about having the knowledge and skill to use that power so both Dominant and Submissive can propel themselves into another space and time, to a sublime level of total release, and achieving that state of mind and body can take many different forms, every single person had his or her own individual needs and wants, even though it all comes under the heading of BDSM.

In reality BDSM and everything that comes with it, including doing it well, takes time and commitment, it is hard work, and it is as disciplined for the Dominant, as it is for the Submissive.

I am not looking for hard work; many aspects of BDSM can and are enjoyed by many people who are not necessarily into the BDSM “Scene” and it works out just fine!

I see my experience in BDSM as an enhancement; it is not a requirement or a necessity in order for me to live a fulfilled and happy sexual life.

For me, my most powerful sexual tool is my mind, and the mind connection I have with others, I do not need a cane in my hand to punish, l do not need a sub on their knees to dominate, I am not even looking for likeminded people, most of us are likeminded in some way when it comes to perversion. Someone with a high pain threshold who would like to explore could be nice but again, not a necessity.

Hard-earned wisdom is something you can't buy, It's the wings of experience that make you fly .....
