We have been playing the game long enough to have found out about these things. Certainly not complaining, just wondering if anyone else has similar experiences. Yes we have been let down over the six years, but normally only once for one night....not 3 times.

Ever had the feeling that someone somewhere is controlling your life especially when it come to planning to meet other couples for chat and maybe sex.
Failure Number 1;
Met a couple last Saturday socially and accepted invite to visit them at home last night. Rang to confirm on Friday. They have changed plans saying that invite was to a party some 55 miles away and they could not due to babysitting.
Failure Number 2
Rang some close friends and invited them to come to us for some fun. All set for a good night (last night). They rang to say their central heating boiler had sprung a leak and were unable to come (on both counts!!)
Failure Number 3
Replied to an advert on Swinging Heaven. from a local couple hoping that they would get in touch by phone and we could salvage something. Needless to say they have not bothered to reply or e-mail.
I'm sure that my late mother is controlling things from wherever she may be. Anyone else had a catalogue of failures like this?
