I just don't think that as a song it will do anything to stop bullying. You tell me where the problem lies when you sit in a doctors surgery with your child and hear her say she wishes she was dead because of bullying.
No song will solve the problem.
When you have to formally threaten the local education department with a writ for failure to keep your child safe, along with the Governors of the school responsible and teachers when she comes home pouring of blood becuase an 11 year old high on booze and drugs decides she did not like her because she was prettier than her and tried to take her eye out with a metal umbrella.
Until something is done at the core we will never stop bullying and I find songs as inane as this one cause more of a problem than they solve.
But thats just me others may have a different view and I respect that.

- I have been heavily involved in an anti-bullying campaign locally, and we've had some really positive results - but, the only reason for success is the 1:1 input my team has had in working directly with these bullies & their victims. There;'s a whole host of reasons and behaviours that lie beneath someone's bullying behaviour, and more needs to be done to tackle that - before things escalate into physical incidents, like metal tipped umbrellas. Unfortunately, the resources, and more often than not, the understanding and parental input just isnt there to do this. but it worked. She is now 20 working in a hospital as a Care Worker and is very very happy. She was supported.
