Next thing you know,...
a) they hardly ever come on line
b) when they do come online, they go instantly invisible
c) when you see them and say hi, they ignore you
If you don't want to chat to someone WTF would you ask them to add you in the first place :taz:

Sorry to hear your bad news guys.
Whenever its happened to me I have found the the only way to go forward is to look at the positives and move on as quickly as possible.
Probably easier said than done right now but my advise for what it's worth is look at it as an adventure. You know the old saying, when one door closes another opens.
Try to look at it as an opportunity rather than a set back. Sit down together and look closely at your situation. Take stock of your skills and assets and be cheered by the fact that you have each others support in whatever is approaching in the future.
I dont mean the above to sound flippant, believe me it's not. I just feel that you will achieve so much more with a positive attitude, than if you let this, all be it devastating news get you down.
whatever you decide let me wish you all the very best for the future, I hope, along with everyone else i'm sure, that everything works out and that life takes a turn in the right direction very soon.

Because in my limited experience (thanks to a very special lady) I found that the organizers put a massive amount of effort into it, spend a huge amount of spondies to make it work, and really, its just another nightclub experience that to be honest i shook off in my 30's
OK so I've only been to two, that said, as well organised as they were, I would have preferred to get to meet people in an atmosphere where we could actually hear what people were saying, have a conversation without having to SCREAM at eachother, and genuinely get to know people :dunno:

I used to spend all my time in here, many moons ago, when i was the other half of a couple, we had huge laughs which sometimes reduced me to tears
then we had a really bad experience and laid off for a bit, (yes we acquired our very own stalker )
Eventually we changed our user name, ensured that said stalker had buggered off, and rejoined.
bloomin eck, that really does feel like sooo long ago
anyhow, so life went on, i suddenly became single :shock: and again, drifted away ............. then came back, spent hours and hours in here talkin bollox as usual. Then faded away again .......... then had a major "depression" thing going on, came in here and got some real good advice and support (thanks st3v3, its not forgotten ) and formed some very special friendships
recently my time on here has been limited but for all the right reasons, business is looking up, mental state has stabalised, and I work is now actually taking up most of my time.
All that said and done, I might not be here much these days, but I'll never forget the friends and lovers who all fought to get me through the darkest times of my life. :kiss:
