At VA the social area's are very much separate from the play area's. If you don't fancy playing or find anyone you fancy playing with then you can stay in the social area's.
If you do decide to go in the play area's even if you only wish to play with each other then that's cool to. Saturday nights are couples only and we have found everyone to be very friendly and polite. Mrs P has never been touched in-appropriately without that person being invited to.
For us the first time we went we weren't sure either and we were pretty nervous to, however we really had such a great night we love the clubs on couples nights now.
The social area's at VA the only real difference is maybe that some of the girls are dressed more sexily than normal clubs, tho nowadays even that is debatable!
Just go guys you won't regret it. We can almost garauntee there will be others there that feel exactly the same as you.
Some people will claim various clubs can be cliquey but it really is a case of 'you get out what you put in'. Our advice is if you want to chat to people and have a laugh then do just that... Chat to people.
You will see a few couples that do great impressions of wall flowers. If you want that then all is well but some will say 'no one spoke to us'. However how do they know that you want to interact and not just watch as some do.
We went into the jacuzzi last time and the most intimate anyone got without being invited was rubbing shoulders because they were sitting next to us and it was 'cozy' in there! Lol

In total we average a play meet maybe once every 6 weeks I think.
Our time is restricted due to kids and work, though now we have discovered the club scene we usually arrange to go to one of those when we have time. Things have really picked up since then, as you get to meet people face to face and either play with them at the club or arrange to play with them between club visits.
Tbh we have found arranging meets through the internet hard work! Much easier to meet people in 'real' life and go from there lol.

I think in some cases 'familiarity breeds contempt'.
There do seem to be a huge percentage of couples in sexless marriages that's for sure. We have friends both male and female who say the same thing.

We've never been to Erotica before either. This we've decided though there's mixed reports we'd find out for ourselves. So we're going to the show on the Saturday then on to AbFabs in the evening which is holding a couples and single females only night.

Ooo yeah, something that you can check in with and it tells you when you have selected user groups ehich you select within a given range, say 1 mile. Then you get the option to msg them through the app...

We feel that if you have a strong relationship to start with and get into swinging for the right reasons and have openess and honesty between you it can very well make you relationship stronger.
However if you have a weak relationship to start with and/or you are not open and honest with each other it is more than likely going to end up destroying such a relationship sooner rather than later.

So you think that people who collect pictures or never have any intention of meeting dont press the update button? I would say different. Ive noted numerous accounts that I suspect are either fake or never meet that have been here as long as we have and are regularly updated.
No we don't think that atall. But why add to those you speak of with potentially thousands more? However admin have seen that this update was not going to work and stopped it anyway. So at least now it is only those that do update them that will be there instead of every advert thats not deleted on every account that is used.

The advert update on login was implemented with the intention of being beneficial show active members and for members who update their adverts on a regular basis when they log in, but we can now see the problem for those who are looking for meets will see a flock of old adverts appearing in the adverts section.
We've reviewed how the system has worked over the weekend, taken the points on board raised in this thread and via the support ticket system and we have at this point decided to withdraw this function at this stage. We may well re-review this again later stage but for now it's been reverted.

It's EVERY advert on any account active or not that's now activated and bumped every time that account is logged in that's the issue.
All we're bothered about is now there's no point in browsing the ads because most of them are a long time out of date. Or belong to people that wrote one advert when they joined to collect pictures or view webcams who have no intention of ever meeting.
