the point is ... that steve has a habit of playing the bully, but others( me included) can see right through it.
Like a few on here, he has a different view. Some I agree with and some I don't. The forum would be boring without these differing views. Steve, in my opinion, has a thought and puts it in type and will then ask questions about others answers. This applies to Frecklebird, Phuckers, Wunderhorse, and quite a few I could mention. I like the way they do not stick to the norm. They all make me think and look at a topic in a totally different way. Is that bullying? Not in my book, just clarifying answers.
he hides behind his friends and the AUP and basically loves a good row.
I suspect his friends on here would be the first to point out to Steve if he stepped over the mark. And I suspect he would be the first to acknowledge it............well at least Shireen would give him a bash around the head first. Hiding behind the AUP? You can not hide behind it.........you either abide by it and stay or do not abide by it and get a boot.
he hangs on to a time when he was important... but the truth is, he is no-longer important,
Well below the belt and should not be in an adult discussion. It is more suited to the playground
and less attractib=ve to the opposite sex. accordingly he takes it out on his (more virile) competition.
Even more below the belt. Your head should hang in shame for that
if im gonna get banned for speaking my mind.. then so be it.
I hope you don't get a ban, but you should think before insulting people
Just for the record, me and Steve have crossed swords in previous threads. And at one point it became quite heated, but that was with the discussion and not insults. I hope everyone can play happily now and stop building barriers of them and us. There is no them and us, there is only me against the rest of you  .

thats why we have classiffications and ratings on films, programmes and all sorts to protect what the minors watch if thats not the case people with the ideas like yours would start exposing their kids to watching hardcore porn.
have you ever wondered why its legal in this country for a 16&17year olds to engage in sex whilst its illegal for them to watch hardcore porn?????
how would you feel if your 7year old come from school and say he/she taken part in a drama of same sex relationship???
peanut there is time for everything,we raise our kids step by step to growing into the society but not impose everything on them at once
do you see the harm ....?

Seems to me to be more a macho and ego sort of thing. It's hardly surprising though given the upbringing us over a certain age have had and the conditioning we've received.
From the psychologist's point of view it's also a knee jerk reaction to the unconscious understanding that we all have innate latent homosexuality, but we've been brought up to be straight and be men's men (if you pardon the pun). There's also the conditioning that we've had not just to ignore it, but to positively deny it by knee jerk reactions like the one you had.
And to those who deny latent homosexuality, I ask to consider they last time they got just as hard watching a big cock fuck a pussy as watching that pussy on its own being wanked.

That's not what I said. I said that anything that helps. The more it happens the more acceptance it will gain. It's human nature, if anything happens all the time we learn to accept it. It's only when stuff gets hidden all the time then pops up once in a while that outrage occurs.
I hope to $DEITY that British TV never goes the way of US TV when organised groups control what appears on TV purely by the pure number of complaints they can organise. Look at the Jackson Nipple Debacle for proof.
Where does one draw the line? A few years ago this kind of advert would never ever have been shown, now it seems acceptable. What next? Two guys simulating sex on an advert?
I do not agree with this kind of thing on national tv in an advert...but of course that is only my opinion.

Every parents has a duty and responsibility to look after their children its also their right to monitor what the children are watching, doing on computers or when they are in school we expect the teachers carry on the duty of if some company come up with advert that parents feel is not appropriate for theirs kids to watch, they have every right to voice their protest.
kentswingers777 has clearly stated that he doesnt have a problem with gay people kissing on TV but he would prefer if his children dont watch it.....
How could that harm our kids

I watched my Mrs chatting talking and laughing, with a person she knew, as I sat and waited for her in the car. I found that as she was laughing and being totally natural her body language to the other woman from my viewpoint was really easy and comfortable I just found that erotic

i think they messed up with the advert with the ending. Yes it might have caused a stir, and be memorable, but they wont be showing it... except perhaps on editions of It will be alright on the night or Tarrants TV'(and the like).
ok, the kiss didnt have any tongues BUT surely a bit of innuendo would have been better.
should it be shown.........????? in my view only after the watershed.
p.s sorry for my outburst on your thread Phuckers

Ok, so we have a humorous advert for (New York) style Deli mayonnaise, featuring a stereotypical New York Deli sandwich maker, talking in the thickest Brooklyn accent this side of an episode of Kojack and making fresh Deli style lunches. We have him playing Mum, showing that mums can make fresh deli style sandwiches every bit as good as the real thing, with the help of Heinnz and a dollop of mayonnaise. Implying that when mum uses Heines, it’s just like having your own sandwich chef in the kitchen and no one can tell the difference. All reinforced by the use of the word mum and the kiss.
Am I offended? Yes. The husband is clearly cheating on his wife with his gay American lover and has cunningly brainwashed his children into thinking this disgusting display of affection is both acceptable and to be encouraged.
Now, gimme a Tomato and Pastrami on Rye with extra mayo… to go.
Taxie!!!!
I bet the add men are loving this

Please read and let me know what you think..
A while ago I was out shopping and had forgotten to put my pinky ring on. Most of the time when I'm out I cover it up, as I was born with extra fingers on both my hands, though the left one is tiny and I don't cover it.
The right one though, is a lot bigger. When I handed over my money, the assistant caught sight of it, and I saw her pull back and the look in her eyes was disgust.
It upset me - and I felt very uncomfortable. The people I know well see it when they come to visit and it doesn't bother them. I can understand when people see something which isn't the "norm" and it freaks them out, but this was a bit obvious.
What do you think? I am thinking of having it removed... but thinks why should I? I would love to hear your views on this.
Thank you xx

have read the thread now...deeceeim sure it warrants a thread all to itself and i admit to being as foolish to once nit picking someone just like steve has, on a different site...thanks to a certain poster there that did just what deecee has done here i wont be as foolish again, its a bloody silly idea that someone has to give there opinion to post on here, why the hell should they? i guess the time honoured reply of well dont expect people to respond if you dont...couldnt give a flying fuck if people respond or not, thats their choice..
It aint in the aup to have to give an opinion is it? and to be fair, i reckon phuckers did. A bit less of this silliness would make the forum a lot more hospitable.
As for the resulting slanging match and name calling, well grow up, thats just the kind of shit that allows folk to get away with petty minded rubbish on here and frightens folk away..

havent read all this thread or read about this in the news, i have seen and heard the word 'banned' banded about in the media though...ive no idea if it was banned but that would surprise me, the IBA would have to be very careful of their reasoning behind this, lets face it everything upsets someone and that in itself should never be enough per se to ban anything...now im guessing it hasnt been banned but heinz have withdrawn the advert stating they dont want to upset the folk that have seen it, JOB DONE its made youtube, its ran for only a week hardly a massive expense for the return, lots of radio coverage, i dare say some more on the tv, we dont watch so wouldnt know , Rose and I have mentioned heinz half a dozen times since i got in from work, thats pretty good for an advert we would never of seen but for a guy giving another guy a kiss and the withdrawing of it etc..
advertising execs must be patting each other on the back..i wish i could get that coverage for my business..
do i find it offensive? well i could, if heinz said that the advert had some comic value. id find that very offensive, have they said that? if the two guys kissing is all ive got to go on then who cares...i dont.. suppose someone would, ill be very surprised if some off here didnt find it offensive in our little sexually enlightened community...
ive got better things to worry about, the poor devil that got killed in afghanistan bothers me much more, eleven in eleven days, the job im working on at the moment and how ill afford to fill the tank with diesel... all out weigh any feelings i could have for an advert..
now has heinz got a real winner here...yes they have,, have they deliberatly exploited gay people and should gay people care...ive no idea..for now..

just looked at the video and I find it more wierd that the kids are calling a bloke "mam"
as for the kiss ....it was only a peck not like a full on snog which i think even if it was a male/female couple it wouldnt be appropriate for an advert
