My brother had Six Million Dollar Man, and his spaceship but I was always a little bothered that my Sindy wouldn't fit in there with him.
But then again I found it quite funny to hide in the airing cupboard in the loo and watch people when they came in too.........................

You'll never look a day older than 40 tho.....
Cathy x
Disagree completely..............
I love waking up to filthy texts in the mornings
I have mine on silent sometimes but it's on constantly - I don't find it too intrusive that way. Also great for me if I am out and about cos school can contact if needs be (no good if I am in Essex with the posse tho! wink )
I also think that had I had mine years ago I would have surely found out earlier that my ex was cheating lol back then it was finding scrawled numbers out of pockets in the washing machine biggrin
Cathy x
Ya buggers redface

Can become a bit technical depending on how relaxed ya are but after first few times I think it does get easier.
Pushing myself 'onto' rather than they pushing 'into' helps too!

Cathy x

I've been known to do that on odd ocassions, can I have a go? Won't leave you feeling like a
A. A crap mum
B. Useless
C. Dishonest
D. About 5 years old
though!
Chris

Reese says that he is unaware of this particular terminology.

Phwooarrr where is that man?
Cathy x
Can I have a moan???
I need to moan which is not very often cos I am a smile gal on the whole.
My bloody ex partner has made me :cry: this morning. I'm sure it is a whole 'control' thing on his part but WHY do they have to do it? He is the only person who can reduce me to a blubbering wreck. I have to say we get on great the majority of the time and his wife is the tops she really is - we all holiday together with the kids and everything. Anyway this is how he left me feeling;
A. A crap mum
B. Useless
C. Dishonest
D. About 5 years old
Anyway that is my moan over - I know I'm not a crap mum, useless, dishonest and my tits tell me I am a good 33 years old. So I am off for a swim (first thoughts were to eat gross amounts of chocolate) and wash that man right out of my hair.
Thanks for letting me share!

Back.
Without me little mate.
The vet told me she was well over 10 years of age and basically was dying. Pathologically thin, kidney failure and had severe mouth problems. I know I had offers of homes for her on here and it wasn't a cost issue for me, it was really what to do that was best for her.
So thanks for all your advice peeps x

I know Foxy, goin all soft I am!
Finally after PDSA refused us (won't see her because she is a stray), the RSPCA are going to check her out. Need to see if she is anyone elses first before I start thinking of her as ours!
Cathy x
We are off to the PDSA this avvie!
She is a corker and I hope there is nothing wrong with her that they can't put right.
Will let ya's know

Ive been suffering for the last couple of months with pain at the very top of my leg, where it meets my arse,so i toddled off to the doctors last week.I was told that I have muscle strain where it meets the bone and to take Ibruprofen for a couple of weeks as it should settle it down.
The thing is ive noticed that since Ive been taking them 3 times a day that Ive been really bloody night i was falling asleep on the sofa at 930 which is unusual for me.
So im just wondering if tiredness can be aside effect of taking them?I cant seem to findf the little bit of paper with the massive list of side effects that came with the tablets???? dunno
(also when I went to the doc's I was asked if i had taken up any wierd sports lately, does swinging count as a wierd sport??? )

Just looked in me little book, and drowsiness rather than tiredness is mentioned.

Ironically you mention that you would be less inclined to keep it as one of children suffers from allergies - but children who grow up with pets are LESS likely to suffer from allergies.
You might want to check out:

Cats are cool - their independent, not needy, and take far less care than many other pets biggrin

Yeah I'd heard that AlwaysR - he's nearly 15 now though. My brother has a similar thing and although now lives in a house with two cats, still has to take anti-histamine on a semi-regular basis. Eldest told me last night that he'd be happy to try and see how he went but I am still unsure as the cat looks like the longer haired variety!!!
So update; Two poos (in the tray i might add!! lol ) a good nights sleep - I walked in, she was asleep on the cushion on the kitchen chair, got up to greet me and......
she was purring!!!!!!!
How nice is that????
Now I can't skive off work to stay and ogle at her cos I skived last week and I am FINALLY handing my notice in today in person. Thanks for all ya's help - Rainbows I'm glad she's a girl (well so we think eh?), the boys were going to call her Ray had she been male confused And Jas thanks for the contact x
Off to work now!
Cathy x
biggrin
Thanks to Jiggle that's two kisses I owe ya at the next gathering mate!

Cathy x
Gawdddddd I hate slushy threads really I do but this is the little scrag end.....
after all this time I still can't add a pic - advice gratefully received, so I've changed the avatar for a while.
Haven't made any promises to the boys - am hoping really that it's chipped and someone will be pleased to see it back.
Cathy x
EDIT; Just remembered it took me ages to resize that pic and didn't save it so if anyone can pm me how to pop the photo on, then that would be great ta x
Walking merrily along to Co-op to buy dinner singing in my best voice down the road (I think that's what did it really, bit of the ole pied piper eh?) and this poor pathetic half starved cat strode out mewing at me.
Now I am really really not an animals person. Have fought tooth and nail not to have animals when my boys have pleaded. I wouldn't be cruel or anything but just think they are not for me - plus eldest has been a little allergic to pollen, dust etc in the past.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo the little rat is in my kitchen now - it's a real state. Not injured or anything but badly undernourished. Have given it tuna and some water and now it's really tired and just peed on the bean bag I've left out for it. Manky ears and oh so skinny, it's not in pain just knackered I think. Working Monday and Tuesday so will take it somewhere (PDSA or RSPCA) on Wednesday to see if it has a chip or anything and have he/she checked out (I've called it Carey redface )
Dilemma is - what do I do if they say no it has no chip????
It's gawwwwwjess as mucky and as scraggy as it is!!!!!!!!!!!
Helpppp!!!

Big thanks to Pebbles and Demon it was a party and a half!
Soooo much arranging was done regarding the rooms etc, done so brilliantly we all had a spot to sleep in and taxis to and fro that no one had to worry about anything apart from having fun.
Hats off to you both.
My first 'do' for a while and it was great to see you all again!
Sorry for the singing when we got back but I think it probably drowned a bit of the background noise anyway wink Thin walls those hotels y'know.
Kisses for my mate Essexlady - was so good to see you I almost forgot what you looked like girlie!
Same for Ben who played that guitar soooo sexily! Just wish we could've matched it with the singing! Stuart and Tanina, kisses for the laughs we all had back in the hotel into the early hours. Oh and Stuart......
Haha!
Loads of people to mention but most of all Davidn48 cos he gave me the lift and brought me back not to mention 'lent' me his room for the whole night bless! Thank ya babes!
Last thought to Demon and Pebbles - enjoy your day and we will be thinking of ya both. Happy to see that 'love and happiness' thing is still out there! Lots of love you two.
See you all again soon for more beers and larfs
