Just my arms - used to burn the underside of my forearms a lot when I had my first job at the 'potato shop' (don't laugh it was a good little earner at 13

As an alternative to DaVinci Code, you might wanna try Foucalt's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. Far better researched in esoterica, imho. We've got a copy you can borrow, but you'll have to come get it. ;)

Have still got Bonfire of the Vanities on the shelf, perhaps I should look through what I've got first! Definately buying new book on Lizzie Sidall (pre-raph model).

I remember it being part of our English course back at GCSE/earlier in the early 90s. Am curious to see it again now.
Someone else pm'd the other day wondering if I had a copy. Would be interested in seeing it again myself really - don't really take much in at that age. Maybe I'll see whether the library has a copy......

Generally very confident with my size and all that comes with it, but I WOULD draw attention to it very pointedly on occasion if I felt it might be a problem for the other party. I don't really use the term myself but can see it's used generally as a description.

And what does that add to the arguement, Cathy? It's a trite comment that mean nothing. (thinks about it for a minute and realises that he himself has about 1550 trite and mostly useless posts!!!)
Where would you take it from here? What would you have done differently bearing in mind that TB & GB have not been in power for that long really.
Would you have let SH carry on subjugating his denizens? Invading his neighbours?
Ok you may have not have contributed to his arms piles, but he had plenty of those before TB and GB came to power.

I can't argue/debate with the best of em mate. Just know how I felt when I heard GB talking about innocent lives lost, in his statement earlier. I didn't want to post anything on the other thread in that manner, but it's just what I thought when I heard him speaking. My feeling from the heart - for ALL the innocent lives lost.

Yeah last trip to Spain was 20kg for luggage and 10kg for hand luggage! Half as much again - seems odd to me! Did a bit of shifty-in round meself for that one.
