Kids love playing cops and robbers - it doesn't mean they will grow up to be robbers. The same applies to Playmobil - I assume the set includes a policeman - who is he supposed to arrest? Are these people really that stupid?

What a complete joke they are, for the uninformed they sometimes come attached with a retail DVD/Blu-Ray film, you buy the film which in this case is Ice Age 4 on blu-ray, with it comes an Ultraviolet copy which essentially is like a digital copy, except if it was a digital copy as a digital copy goes I would not be posting here. The purpose of UV & digital is so that you can download it onto your digital devices, tablets/ iPods/iPads phones etc.
So, UV copy available to me, inside the cover of the blu-ray disc it gives me a redemption code and where to find it on-line, tells me go to the URL and redeem your code (same as a digital copy ) but when I get there it gives me a link that trots me off to 'Flixster' who happens by chance to want me to open an account with them (it's free) so as to be able to redeem/watch the film. Grudgingly I open the account, few details and a throwaway email account and I'm done.
But I'm not, cos it now tells me via the link that I also need an account with UV?, at this point I'm thinking this is a lot of frigging effort for my children to be able to watch a film on their iPods but on I went and opened the account (it's free also), went back to the redemption code but it now tells me I need to link the flixster/Ultraviolet accounts together, this is piddling me off now, more huffing but I take the steps to link them and that's it?
No it's not, I now have to download the flixster app onto my iMac so as to be able to pull the download from Ultraviolet, so I install the app ( I've already lost the will to live) and eventually I manage to download the film.
Still not done though, cos when I try to play the film on my iMac it tells me there is an error and not only that for every device I want the item to play on I have to download the flixster app on to it.
End result: Never ever ever ever ever going to buy a film with just a UV copy available, and I've removed every trace of it from my mac and ditched the flixster/uv accounts also. Had ICE AGE4 had a digital copy to accompany the UV copy I would simply have gone to the URL, entered the digital copy redemption code and it would have downloaded onto my iTunes with a simple wi-fi sync and the film showing across my children's iPods, simple is that.
I feel better now, thanks for reading.

I've got an idea. Why don't we invent small value transaction tokens? They can be small enough to keep some in your pocket at all times, hard-wearing enough to be used over and over again, decorated with individual patterns to show their different values, and although having little intrinsic value could represent a transfer of monetary value from one individual to another. A range of values could be produced to allow an almost infinite set of combinations to cover all likely transaction requirements up to the value of, say, a latte and croissant. You could buy them at any bank or the Post Office and then sell them back at zero commission.
We could call them 'coins'.

I post if I have an opinion on the subject, have some information on the subject but if not then sometimes I pass the thread by and sometimes I just read what people do have to say on the subject.
I may be highly opinionated, but not on everything
