Oh dear, I seem to have put several cats amongst dozens of pigeons!
I am sorry Sir Matthew it looks as though we both got home wound up and frustrated, after spending ages alone on windswept lay-bys.
I think if ever there was a lesson learnt it was here, especially as we were to meet at a new location. We obviously both thought the other understood where we were going, but obviously we did not. I for one was eager for some action and in my haste to get my rock off assumed you understood the location I suggested.
I take your point, Sir Matthew, about the PM. You are right there as I should have sorted out in private what went on, before 'accusing' you in public. However I deliberately didn't shoot you down in flames, I just expressed my confusion as to why you weren't there. I hope you'll accept my sincere apology in this case. I haven't read your PM yet as I wanted to set the record straight with the forum first. I'll read it and send you a private reply as soon as I've posted this message. I hope we can still be friends, as I've enjoyed our chats on messenger and would like to think we can help each other out.
As for the kind words from Blue and Jo, thankyou both - it's nice to know how people see you. I do try to make an effort and it's nice to know when it's noticed.

I spent 40 minutes sitting in my car waiting for you at the agreed location, that we had mutually chosen only 45 minutes earlier. After we had finished making the arrangements I went for a shower, stopped for petrol, and travelled about twice the distance you would have needed to travel if you had turned up. It was a bit of a rush but I broke a few speed limits and got there on time (a few minutes early, actually).
In one of your previous posts in the forums you complained about 'no-shows', so why go and do the same thing yourself? :confused:
