I split up with my husband in July 05 and anybody who knows me, knows that hes been an absolute tosser to both me and my family.... However, im now living with someone else and on the whole, very happy..
But... even now 15 months on, things hurt, the other day i was lying on my bed listening to Rod Stewart singing "I dont wanna talk about it" and before i knew it, i had tears streaming down my face. I guess there is no time limit, altho someone did once tell me it takes about 3 yrs to get over a split... dunno about that but i do have bad days now then...

I would go but there are some reasons i cant - firstly i wouldnt have a bloody clue how to get there on my own (can drive but hopeless somewhere new). Secondly my partner, now he would say "yes u can go" but then i know he would be arsey and make me feel guilty so it wouldnt be worth all the hassle. I used to go out with my girlfriends every week without fail before i met him, but i havent been out once without him since we met and yes i DO miss it. Enormously in fact. My problem is i dont like to rock the boat!!
There is nothing quite like a night out with my female mates, totally different to being with my partner, its fun, girly, giggly and flirty and i love it..... one day i will go back to being that OTHER person.

:lol: youre just too popular for your own good Dark!! :lol: :lol: I have a dog who is the most gorgeous and soft dog ive ever had, hes a german shepherd and everyone around here knows hes just a big teddy bear. I take him up to school when i take my son to school every day, hes very obedient and he loves kids. He walks off the lead most of the time and i never worry about him biting anyone - its just not in him.
However, my last GSD was a different kettle of fish altogether. He was a nervous dog, very protective and territorial. He was brilliant with my kids tho and i never had a problem with him in that way. But i had to be careful with him when out walking, and i couldnt let anyone in the house with him around - he had to be locked away.
It wasnt anything we did with him, he was just born that way. Im a responsible dog owner and my dog is very much loved by everyone around here. I suppose now tho, ill be getting the strange looks and people crossing over the road to avoid Max.
Hopefully, itll blow over - i must say i do feel extremely upset about the children who have been mauled this week, its just terrible.

Thanks to Darkfire and her helpers for a FANTASTIC munch, the outfits were amazing, the food was very nice, the chocolate fountain was mmmmmmmmmm, the music was great, the company was excellent.
Lovely to meet some old friends and put some faces to names of people i hadnt met yet. Especially nice to meet up and chat with Stuart and Tanina, Mr Muttley and Marshy, really missed seeing you guys, Stokies, hope u feel better today Mrs_Stoke.
