I am not that good an actor to be anything but myself, although I have different sides to my personality in the chatrooms my laid back, have fun and a laugh side come out generally in the forums my more thoughtful side seems to come out more.
Maybe in the chatrooms people can see my face and see my reactions where in here maybe I am more cautious as to not offend and that isnt anywhere in my personality to offend people.
But I let people decide who I am.

I believe your gut instinct to mean that first feeling you feel, you can not explain it as I believe it is unique to each individual.
I read a book about natural thinking and that explains that the gut reaction is something that has taken years of generations and given to us though our genes as learned lessons from our past families and something we all don’t listen to and question.
I have always relied on my gut instinct and have always felt it is something we should never question, although I believe it is something we question within to always see if we can catch it out. Kind of an unproved science. I would always listen to it first though and try to prove it wrong, than go against it and it proves me wrong.
What is your gut reaction and have you found it to be right or wrong?

Well as I do often I'll disagree with the three posts above. Yes GNV a place for everything and everything in its place. Take that thought and check the start date of the all the old JFF posts. All 2009, in the old days of the cafe these dull threads didnt exist so there place never was here in the cafe so to speak. As I have said many times when the site owners split the forums they created spaces for new types of thread. Thats not exactly what was intended but it is what happened. So when we have reintegrated we have not reintegrated what was once together, we have reintegrated things that never co existed in the first place.
Neil what I am talking about is very recent and very simple. A few regular posters voiced objections at the JFF threads always being at the top of the cafe forum and now they dont post or if they do hardly ever. Admittedly its not very many but as there were not many to start with its significant. I do note too some accounts may have been banned.
Regardless of any of this its only my own opinion that matters to me here. There basically is now feck all to do here so I have started cutting down my visiting frequency. Its better that when I do log in there is actually some stuff to read and the only way that seems possible is to log in less often.

tweeky there was always fun threads in the cafe before the split, there has always been a mixture, maybe what has happened when the fun forum was started people knew where to go to just chill and have a laugh without all the sex and current affairs threads. Now prehaps they are all still here and enjoying popping in and posting.
Which keeps the fun threads at the top.
What is need is thread writers, believe me I have done my fair share of those in the past on various topics sexual and non sexual too.
Maybe thats the problem the thread makers of the past have run out of ideas to write about as most things they have covered in the past.
What happens now is if someone new comes along and starts a thread that eros again has been discussed someone often delves back to the past thread and people then think o well and dont post just reads it. We need to let new discussion still evolove today even if we have commented in the past to attact more comments if not sadly the forums will come to a stand still, as either some say been there done that, or here is what we all said last time which is like saying this is boring.
