Thank you everyone for your love and kind Wishes I didn't expect this when I logged on, but thank you from the bottom of my heart
Yes its been a long haul to get this far, and I'm still getting to grips with the cognitive problems I have.
But today was a blast, I loved every minute of it, I'm tired, my head aches but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Felt so scared when I arrived, but the girls were lovely I'm working with, and took their time to explain things, and were very helpful
Its only 4 hours for 2 days a week for now till my work coach says I can do longer, were hoping to get me to 15-20 hours a week.
Then I can apply for jobs, that's the aim of the placement to test me to my limit but slowly.
Today was a big step for me, and I feel proud of myself that Ive done it, I don't normally blow my own trumpet but today I am lol
and If it wasn't for voddy, my friends and the Community on here I don't think Id have got this far,
Thank you again everyone, its your belief in me and your encouragement that had given me the courage to go on, and get over another hurdle my strokes and brain operation left me.
