This has really left me with the ability to laugh about what happend to me and the affects it left me with. Changing a light bulb gets intresting tho lol
but no i dont have a vk just to do it, just needs a little more thought.
It was a brain anurisum that left me having brain surgery on xmas day 2006 then spent 4 days in a coma and life support. 14 Days after the event, and amazing the doctors, i walked out of that hospitl and my friend on sh were to do with that.
Friends on sh, who informed my family in Kent what had happend and kept in touch with them and visited me in ITU when i was out of the woods so to speak, my family who are all in Kent really apprecaited the help and support that not just given to me, but to them as well.
This is what keeps me on sh, the jokes the laughs, and most of all the friendships that are made. Think i will still be here when im old and grey, ohhh forgot, i am old, lol ok grey then,
Anais and nola, you and others would be soooo very welcome at the Yorkshire munch, the Oct one is being organised by Cocksnoggers this time, previous to that it was swife, (slutwife) but i wont call her that lol.
It would be great to meet you and any other new peeps who may get there. Loads of hotels in the area and from a good price, so look forward to meeting you one day.

As being fairly new to sh, and as i single female, i always advoide attending munches/socials. Not sure what image i had in my mind about these events, but with some friendly words from nice people i chat to in the chatrooms, i decided, ohhh hell why not. I think it was late 2007 that i first took the step and attended one of these, being ill late Ded 06 had knocked my confidence greatly, and i certainly needed a lift.
I attended the Yorkshire munch and from the moment i met up with friends who were attending i felt at ease. I was excited about putting faces to the profile names that i chatted to in the chat rooms, and actually chatting to them in person. That buzzing feeling was creeping back a good boost for me, as had not felt it in a long time since being ill.
The friends who took care of me, (Hand holders) made sure that the hotel was booked for me, met me at the hotel, and shared a cab to the event. I had the biggest butterflys going, and hell did it feel good.
Then on arriving at the event, they stayed with me, introducing me to various other members of the site, and who called into the chat rooms. The event was wow! that old buzz was back, i met and spoke to some lovely people, who also recognised me and come over to say "hi, and good to see you looking well again."
The venue was great, there was a disco, but if you were people who wanted to chat more, then you could go to another area where the music was not so loud and chat without yelling.
Those staying in the hotel, met in the loby before and after and chatted more there, drinks and coffee.
Now wild horses will not keep me away from a Yorkshire munch, not even a slight accident on my way to the hotel for the last one, car and me fine lol, Was a bit cheesed of, as was meeting up with friends at the hotel and going in the pool first, but still made it, just in time to shower and get ready.
I will even go as far to say, that if not for the friends i have made along the way on attending these, and those i chat to in the chat rooms, i dont think my recovery would have been as fast. I have had so much support in the chat rooms and from so many, i have gone from strength to strenght. My confidence is back and my ability to enjoy my life has also returned, and although i would not consider walking into a pub or night club on my own, i would certainly have no hesitation in attending a Yorkshire munch on my own as i have done in the past.
Think im on my 5th munch now due in Oct, and im counting the days lol. Love seeing and chatting to the friends i have made along the way and also making new ones, since being a member of sh, and to those friends i have made, i must say a very very BIG THANK YOU, for all the support that you have given me at a very very tough time. Im so glad i moved to Yorkshire and met you all.
So all you new members make the effort, get out there and attend some of these events, the only regret i have, is that i did not attend sooner, and it took my illness to make me realise just what i had been missing.

This really is getting beyond a joke now, there is not one day since the change over that i do not logg in and have trouble free time.
Im host of Yorks chat No Directing and everytime i put my cam on within about 5 minutes it boots me.
I know this is happening to a few others who use Yorks chat room, but rather than swamp admin with problems one of us made the contact last week, with no reply.
Pleaseeeee can this be looked into, as since the change over i have not had one day where there has not been a problem of some sort with sh.
Not sure why as it was never like this on the old 1/2/3/4 servers. What is going on ?

I am having various problems with both chatrooms since the change over.
These vary and are as follows
Put on cam and within 3 minutes the room will grey out and i have to go "join" to get back. Leave cam off and ok. Not the only person to experience this at the same time.
That seemed to be sorted, then !!!!!! and now
Im in chatroom(yorks)on Lanc and having serious lag problems, taking ages for what i type to appear in room if at all, but seems if i whisper that appears to me at least right away. Others who are typing it takes ages to appear in the room, to me at least.
Cant view cams, and after a few minutes room greys out on me. This has been going on all day. :(
It seems from others that i have spoken to that others are having similar problems, and there is a post on it from Admin, i cant seem to copy and paste the cmd action trace as reqested that the post has asked us to do, but other site chatrooms that i visit i do not have a problem
Can someone please advise, when this will resolved as things were much better before the change over to Lance Gun
