I don't think that anything people enjoy doing can be classed as a waste of time - Others may not find it particularly thrilling but then "don't do it" and it doesn't waste your time.
Why not have an agreement and make one night a week a "game and tv free" night?
See what you can come up with for ways to spend the time... smile
Would love to go with the whole family thing of "Love me, we're famiily" and with Work "Go on, sack me"... but ... Until we decide we are ready, then everyone can f*** off - when and if we do decide to appear,. then we will decide which publications we appear in.. Other than that there is a HUGE charge £$£$££$£... As for slander, it is a high tight rope to walk,,,,

Well... Gutted 'cos Tony is off to Marbellla for 3 days whiile I stay home... Wish I was there.
can anyone tell me the absolute first "rule of the road" in the UK ?

Not me - gis' a clue pls?
Not one of the slow drivers that hog the fast lanes - but it really gets on my wick when people don't have the patience behind me to keep a safe distance when I am using the fast lane to overtake and feel the need to practically sit in my boot until I feel it is safe to move back to the middle/slow lane mad
Despite people not wanting to be labelled, human nature has a habit of trying to make us choose a box and stay in it... However, there are no rules that say you can't change your mind about which box you sit in, how long you stay there or indeed how many boxes you can sit in simultaneously... It just gets tiring after a while and you start evaluating and thinking - is this right for me? I personally think it's good to look inside yourself and confirm you are being as true to yourself as you can - even if the goalposts move the next minute/hour/day etc...
Definitely agree that writing things down instead of keeping them in your head is a great thing to do...
So - label yourself up with as many as you want - even if they contradict each other and reserve the right to remove and re-add them as you see fit... smile
Before we were married, hubby wouldn't have accepted it was "ok" to acknowledge that another man was attractive - not necessarily meaning he was "attracted to...." - Now we're married he seems to be able to recognise it and understand the difference between "attractive" and "attraction".
Either that or I have brainwashed him smile
Funny ha-ha or funny peculiar?

meant funny ha ha - no offence intended smile
To all non-newbies,
is there anyway they we can encourage people that it is quality and not quantity that counts???

Yes - just tell us. I would recommend that someone with experience on the site and/or a mod drops a PM giving exactly this feedback.
have we gotten to the stage that so many new people want to come to muches and parties that we have created a rod for our own back in that people feel they have to write to become regulars regardless of what is written????????

Yes - because all advice is "get yourself known" and while some people are here for the banter and chat, I would guess more are here to actually join/take part in the swinging community of which munches seem to be a great part
Appreciate this is not a "noobs bashing" post but knowledge is power and those of you who have history with the site are the all powerful to those of us trying to join... smile

Not that my new found gadget is electronic or trendy but it is saving me so much time - what is it....???
A cleaner that goes inside your fish tank with a magnet piece on the outside of the glass and as you move the magnet over the outside glass - the cleaner pad inside the glass scrapes clean all of the green gunk off!!!
I am so chuffed it's worrying redface
Anyone else got useful gadget info they want to share???
It's a tough one Lou - I wish you all the luck in the world with it xxx
My personal opinion - and that's what it is...
You are thinking about what is best for the boy.

If it's getting to you sit with Col and say everything that you have said here.

You can't do it all on your own - Col has the responsibility in this situation
One thing to remember is that at the heart of this is a child who just needs to know they are loved (even if they are screaming for a PS2 or something like that) - it takes time but when they are older, they'll work it out. You're not letting the child go without, by the sounds of it, so put the brakes on all the extra's you're being asked for.
Good luck with it all - Bev xx
Dawn_Mids
p.s. there was no iron

Must have remembered the Little Mo/Trevor iron scene then...
Happy Birthday smile
Lucky you - it's not sunny where I am sad
Best bits about summer - sitting on the decking all through the night drinking beer, people wearing less clothes, outdoor sex without the risk of catching death of cold... smile
Ah bless... Dyson is just too cute
Don't get another dog in case he feels left out sad

I'm sure people won't remember me....but....I joined SH over a year ago, but having been busy recently, haven't been on the site for AGES.

Having returned, expect to be even busier now - it's the addictive element this place has you know... smile :welcome: back

Guilty as charged ... redface
For me the scariest part of being a mom is not nowing if I'm doing it right or wrong, and knowing I'll only recognise my mistakes when it's too late, when the adults they are to become is revealed. By then it may be too late to change.

Here Here... where's the manual for when you become a parent???
So are we boring if we use real names?
Does joining SH mean you have to have a healthy dose of creativity?
There are enough user names I have to remember outside of this forum, never mind think of something other than your name that "conveys something about you" - I think names do just that - tell people who you are... No offence to anyone clever enough to have thought up a really smart one... smile
Top Marks - Well Done !!! It's been on my mind wondering had you heard -
