I once had my car taken off me by a policeman redface he was very nice about the whole thing and rather than leaving me stranded without my car he said he'd give me a lift to where I was going (although he disappointingly wouldn't put the blue lights on for the ride) as we were driving along I realised I didn't have my seat belt on so had to try and surreptitiously put it on with out him noticing so he didn't try and do me for that as well lol on the journey I also managed to confess to him I had a habit of accidentally driving the wrong way down a one way street we went past  I was single at the time and he was a bit of a fittie but I decided against seeing if he fancied a drink sometime in case I confessed to anything else

Isn't it the driver's responsibility to ensure that all passengers are belted before they set off?
He should have done himself! :high-smile:
What do you do in private that others would find gross? Your really most disgusting private habit?
Mine is picking the hard skin off the bottom of my feet and then eating it.
:giggle:
I've been to some good club socials - even organised a couple on another site -- but they are nothing like the socials of old. Club socials have their place, for people who are comfortable with clubs. But I agree, the site-wide socials of old were amazing and nothing could top them.
My favourite part of those times were the pre-munch meet ups, the stupidity in hotels and the massive build up to each one :thrilled:

Just out of interest now that we've known each other so long, do you think of me as "Angel" first and convert it to my real name?

With you, I think I'm in a state of conversion :giggle:
When I speak to you and others on FB, who I speak to most days, it's not that I'm sitting on FB, doing constant name conversions in my head. The problem would be when mentioning someone in conversation. With you I generally call you Angel ... and that comes out all as one word  . I do that with umpteen other people too :notes:
I can't decide.
But for the sake of moving on my thought process, I'm going to go with 7 of 9 (Star Trek Voyager) in full on Borg mode :borg:, and Jean Luc Picard :lol2:

I once flagged a police car down at a dogging site to report suspicious activity.
They did what I asked.
I must look trustworthy lol

Is that what you had, or is it an attempted calorie count up of my meal?

it was a quick estimate of yours!
Oh right, well it's completely wrong.
2x bread, not 3
No butter, or any other spread on the toast
2 eggs
Don't know how much 100g cheese looks like, but I'll give you that because I can't discount that you're right or not
You didn't count the beans
Quote by Rogue_Trader

You fat bloater!- i'd need a lie down after eating all that lol

I did lie down, and I had a sleep.
I had that about 1pm and I still feel bloated. I still can't eat. I think that meal was about 3 days calories on one plate
3 rounds of bread = 300Kcals
3 x 10g of butter = 216 Kcals
1 x 100g of cheese = 420 Kcals
3 x eggs = 270 Kcals
1206 Kcals....
a lot for one meal, but just miss out tea and sorted!
Is that what you had, or is it an attempted calorie count up of my meal?
Cable ties :lol2:
Pretty is OK. Bring the pretties, then.
We can turn 'em weird once they get here :rascal:

Happy to give another shot to staying up late.
Not promising I will make it past 11pm!

Yay! What party games can we play tonight?
oh please can we cos i got distracted by a really cute dude in the chatroom!
I'm not really one for games, as you know...... but your mission, should you care to accept is, is to bring me, from the chat room, the weirdest person you can find lol
I can't be arsed with chat.
It takes concentration. People will realise that I've dozed off

Right, well, my experiment was quite successful.
Not exactly pretty, but very tasty. Just short of a bit of brown sauce really.
I did your average cheese on toast (Lancashire cheese, in chunks, not slices - never slices), then tipped a couple of mashed up eggs on it, then some beans, then some grated Red Leicester - Red Leicester can be sliced or chunked, but I chose grated to add a bit of style.
I ate the lot.
Probably be a while before I eat again though
:uhoh:

Where's the pics and stats? wink
I put the pic on FB, but here it is for those who can't see it there:

So, that was two slides of medium sliced white bread (Co-op's own brand), some Co-op's own brand Lancashire cheese, two eggs (free range, allegedly medium, but actually quite small), some beans (maybe one third of one of those fridge packs - Beanz Meanz Heinz), some Red Leicester for style (Co-op's own brand again, can you see a pattern here). Pinch of salt. And Bob's yer uncle.
Blue, that looks fabulous!!!!
Thanks.
I would definitely make it again, one day, when I have brown sauce
It could become my new hangover cure.
I think I'll pass on this new home after all.
Having to go the long way round out of my village every day would get irritating. Low bridge out of the quick way.

Scary?
IMO there's two genre of members here, Chatroomites or Forumites .
Thankfully I exist in both ....

I think that's always been the case.
Most are one or the other and to cross that line, for most, just didn't ever really work.
The lucky few feel equally comfortable in both. They are like fish that can ride bicycles

Actually, Bob's my Mum's dog and that looks like a dog's dinner lol

:lol2:
I said it wasn't pretty!
But it did taste OK. My dogs got a bit, but they would have liked more
I'll put money on it that Bob would have too. He loves cheese.
I think all dogs like cheese. My cats beg for it too.
"Bump" --- posting on a thread to get it back up to the top again.

I have lots of freckles and I'm a bird, as in female, not like a chicken because then I might have chosen Freckledchicken or Freckledhen or something smile

Awww I don't know! Freckledchick has a nice ring to it kiss
Freckledhen suits you
bolt
I always used to introduce myself as Blue. I never really got the hang of the real names thing.
I still struggle. I still think "username" in my head, then have to convert it to "real name". It's like a strange sort of bilingual experience :lol2:
It's even more confusing when someone's username IS their real name, as I continue to think, "I still don't know that's person's real, REAL name" blink
