I had quite a bad custard experience just now! Was definately definately not out of date - infact just freshly made this morning.
Left it in the pan for about an hour though!!!! Have decided to chuck the pan away - but don't think I can get away with throwing out the cooker.
As usual I've just finished doing lunch for 50  I can't decide wether to drink this wine or stick my poor poor feet into it! Today was Roast Pork or Roast Beef with all the apply/yorkshiry bits as appropiate smelt nice but alas there is none left. (All the bread and butter puds gone too  )
I'm knackered and starving as I usually am at this time on a Sunday.
I think I might have been tricked into signing up for a SDDPM redface (I am a sucker for a special offer). I think Sarge installed a special PM trip into this thread. I was just in the middle of reading it when a PM pinged up!! Very clever sales technique - nearly shit meself  Very very spooky it was.
Oh Oh Sorry to be so late in getting here, this is the first chance I've had to be online. But I just really wanted to add my thanks to Steve for having such a fab idea and organising this night. And thanks to everyone who put up with me either at their table, in their car, or in their bedroom. Really cannot beleive what a fantastic bunch of folk you are. Met some great new folk and some brillant old friends. Can't wait for the next do.
BTW not sure what the deal is with photos but I'm quite happy for any of mine to be up anywhere. In fact if anyone has any of me not looking too much like Robbie Coltraine in drag I'd really like a copy!
Cheers

Oooh.. how far south?

I'm only moving to South London - Still that is nearer to ReeceandVixville than South Scotland! Hooray lol
Fry1 :slap: :slap:!!
I'm currently relocating to the Scary South  Am home sick already and at the moment and I'm still allowed home for weekends! . I think I will definately be looking for a northerner to adopt me. Just so I can have a converation with someone that understands me.
Well - I'm my usual organised self. I am now in London and my costume is in sunny Scotland sad (Was Lady Godiva from the medeaval period????)
Have no idea where I'm staying. Better check in with my roomie to let her know I'm still alive and find out where it is we are staying!!
:bounce: I'm definately looking forward to it now though.:bounce:
Since unlike some folk I've not been celebrating, eating, drinking and shagging. I've lost one whole pound again.
Slow but sure. Slow but sure.
Funny you shoul have a hat that looks like a wig. I've got a wig that looks like a sort of hairy hat.
I have a handy tip for you here.
If you buy 2 totally scrumptious size 10 deep suspender belts reduced to £3 in the bargain bucket and join them together - they do not make a size 20 redface Who knew!
Not a fan of hold ups here. I like traditional stockings and old fashioned granny suspender belts. Blimey I'm a sex siren confused

Mind you, have you noticed how many "Steve's" there are?

That's not just SH, though. When I moved to the UK 3 years ago, I quickly learned that a good 90% of the male population here is named "Steve". Curious. confused
ON SH I think you'll find that 90% of males are called Steve and at least 15% of the females too
Mock why don't you!!! It got very confusing for me when
udyTV was quoting ibra ove confused
uckily for me it ust fixed itself after 2 days. Or maybe the ovely mark sorted it!
Hmmm. You think fat columns is a problem. Last week someone stole all the L's and J's from folks user names  (but only on my PC redface )
Promise this is true - I did not make it up (I mean why would I)
sad  :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Here is my review of our game! As usual big feckin' pants
Oh yes to Alan, Geoff and Richard
Especially Alan Rickman :swoon:
And I'm more than happy to take Fern Britton (especially if she brings hubby Phil Vickery too) lol

given the still delicate and tense situation in NI I'd have thought people in general would be a little wary of meeting total strangers for a bit of houghmagandy as you might not get what you expected. I can't imagine it's out of prudery as all the NI folk I've met have been well up for the craic in all its aspects smile
Mr Licks

I'd have to 2nd this and also compliment Mr Lickingham on using one of my mostest favourite and rather underused words. Houghmagandy - even if you don't know what it means you can just tell wink
I travel to Ireland and Northern Ireland for meets so they are definitely as you say up for the craic. But security is an issue and the general small and parochial communities means that folk prefer to travel a bit.
From memory (I have not checked) I think you have posted similar things before n64play. I'd suggest that telling folk about yourself and joining threads in the café will help to develop the trust that will be needed to get to the meeting up stage.
though boiling your head would be more fun than actually reading what the search result bring up
What a fantastic couple you are. Just wanted to add my congratulations to you both.
 Amazing pics all round. You guys look super in yer wedding gear - stunning dress Vix. And what a great celebration you had.
Thanks for sharing your pictures - it's touching to be allowed into your lives in this way. Makes me all warm inside. lol
Oh Easy's job sounds really dreadful.
I suppose part of the problem is that, if you do work with the public, then, much of the satisfaction you get from you job is brought about by your interaction with them. I love my business and am very proud of it. I need the public to make a success of it and when they leave happy or compliment me on it I'm walking on air.
However when the balance tips and you are dealing with more moans than anything else it becomes thankless. I take complaints very personally and the worst comment I've ever had was "you just don't care" which actually made me cry
After years and years of doing it I've realised that I'm not cut out for being a "servent" and am unhappy that people treat me as one - which they do all the time. So time for a career change for me I think. And am feeling particularly stroppy...... I wonder if Easy has any vacancies.

Me, George Clooney and Brad Pitt... :inlove:  :smoke:

Yeah right Wibbly you'll have to tag team with me if you want to keep it 3 some.
Is that your passport photo your using for an avi now DB? lol
I feckin' hate it.
I've never had a card ever. Whether I've been in a relationship or not. Bllllllllahhhhhhhhh. Hate it. mad Shouldn't be allowed.

Quite tall and full of movement.

Even if you were Ronnie Corbett, Venus would not seem "quite tall"
Funny the images you have of folk. I had convinced myself that davej would be exactly as he described himself (old man in a cardigan smelling of pee). Though I have always imagined Warwick as more of a blazer than a cardigan confused
I was one of those who thought Matt was about 20years older than he actually is!!!
Other folk turn out to be exactly as you expect them to be though.
sad Am really starting to struggle now. How come when everyone else is stressed they stop eating and start wasting away. But when I'm stressed I can't stop chomping. :(
I think I've stayed the same again this week. Anyway I've lost a total of 6lb - but I basically lost that in the first week and have not managed anything since them.
My only excuse is that I'm under extreme pressure at the mo. And in the hope of both destressing and avoiding any weight gain my friends are about to drag me off swimming (for which you can actually read 2 hours of lolling about in the jacuzzi and sauna and 2 minutes of swimming)
On the plus side - no gain. Hope everyone else is doing well.
Cheers

No no no no no, leave my anthony alone :inlove:

Ooops I missed a few posts and thought GenHertsCpl was referring to Anthony Worrall Thompson LOL
Does anyone remember the extremely gorguous DougAdams who was a member was this site - he looked yummy!
I often wondered if he was the same guy! I already have this page in my book marks wink
OH great - I'm never ever ever going to enter a competition again. The not entering prizes are soooooooooo much better.
Should I perhaps pic Lucy up on the way :P
OH oh oh the comp can't be over already.
I wanted to play. I was just looking for someone to animate me
:: CQ stomps feet and storms out of the thread ::
BTW Vix I see you have another super sexy avi!!
edited: now that I've seen the prize I'm even more mad I didn't get to enter
I think you will find some sympathy Dave from Lucyweebaps hubby Ken.
He had to travel from Scotland with Lucy, Little and Myself all the way to Nottingham with a TV on his knee!!!!
(TV for the Karaoke)
CQ - Jealous as not going to make any of the upcoming Munches
