I went to a charity fundraiser in a london wine bar about a year ago. The girl who had organised it decided she would raise a bit of money by doing a sponsored Bi snog with her friend.
Please bear in mind that she was wearing a pvc nurses outfit at the time, very fit and blonde. Her friend also had a bit of a Kylie/Natalie Imb look about her
suffice to say, we all dug very deep in our pockets for to make it happen (and while it was going on too)

err....well.....errr......I think the "lucky girl" (your phrase, not mine) should be allowed to post here under a psydonym to give her account of events 8)
I'm far too much of a gent to put my biased 'spin' on things, and clearly at least 1 voter thinks so

Jane, I think location has a lot to do with it as Heather said (Croydon does seem to be a bit of a hotspot in the South ;-) )
Even living within a strike of London and half the home counties, it's still difficult. I posted a very similar thread about 10 days ago, and concluded that my success rate for REPLIES was only about 5%.
I've had my toe (enthusiastically and very actively) in the water for 6 weeks now, and am still looking forward to my 1st real encounter.
So, chin up, keep mailing out, keep advertising, forget about those who lead you on and waste your bandwidth....and I'm sure it will happen.
And most importantly, be genuine, don't compromise yourself

Are you quite mad? I was at a wedding a few weeks back. I made a concious effort to avoid all the men only cliques, talking about sport etc.
Instead I made a beeline for all the groups of women / bridesmaids for my afternoons entertainment....much more fun
However Kat, if you can lure all the blokes into here, well done. I'll go and entertain the women while you have got their attention ;-)
