Yeah... so far you're all thinking along the same lines as me. :giggle:
Fire, I hear what you're saying but you know that way that people look at you and think, "oh yeah, she says she's happy single but I bet she's not really" sort of thing because it seems a lot of people think that our sole purpose in life is to meet someone and live happily ever after. lol

ok, this isnt said with any malice but ....
""Hmmmm... I'm pondering this.
On the one hand money would be could cause you could buy good sex and my friends and family love me already!
On the other hand, you just can't beat that all consuming, unconditional, heart melting schmaltz so I'm going with love too! ""
i think i know whats going on inside. i am not saying you are not happy being single, but the above cut and paste makes me think you think like i have done but us single female swingers dare not admit....
although we are single and yes happy and yes we are un comforming by being sexual liberated independent women, and yes we can do just sex..
ultimately we would all love to meet our soul mates and feel that encompassing love.
maybe the worset judge is ourselves? and this is why your feeling hesitant at going to the reunion? deep down you would like to have found that everlasting love?
but .... just because half will be married does not mean they are happy, just be honest and if anyone asks say happy single, till love sweeps you off your feet but no one special enough has come along to make you give up your single freedom?/
sorry long psycho babble post

heres a thought..
if they think it gives the rights back to the claiment then why do the councils not also send them the ( on average) £900 per year that still gets paid direct to the council tax department? scared they might not recieve it?

hes been here almost 5 years and is only 30 joined aged 25, probally not long into his marriage.
if he dont want these kinda replies then dont be so dumb in asking swingers who base stuff on trust and consent how he can MAKE his wife wanna swing.

if you work its your choice what you spend your money on.
i actually think benefit should not be cash at all.
you get a set amount for utilities, ensuring gas, electric, water is all provided and no child will be without. food vouchers are issued for food, not tobacco or alcohol.
if you dont like this get a job. in this country not paying your way grants you more rights than doing so.
i no doubt willbe flamed for this.
im not saying its easy to get a job, but you want respect and choices then earn that right.
benefits should be for no longer than a 6 month safety net and then if you stillhave no job you help out in the community ,even if only for 3 hours a week.
if you want the assistance of the state then i think its only fair that the tax payer knows the money for rent is spent on rent.

hi,
i dont know that you can make your wife want to swing.
you joined 3 years ago,( in edit i see it was actually 5 years ago aged 25 then, probally early in teh marriage hum) you are messaging bi guys and tv's andlking to go dogging.
think its a long way down the line for you than her,and you may need to think if you want to open this can of worms.
id imagine if i was in a relationship and my partner was curious about something fair doos if he does a few serches and gets some info and then shows me or asks me my opinions, but toknow youve been active/seeking for 3 year and with men id be a bit more than pissed off.

as above, if i saw a person without torretts do that i would really laugh, its funny. so why would my body react instinctively any diferent when its caused by someones condition?
i think they fact i do give a shit about people feelings makes me feel guilty.
so im not going to worry or apologise for what i said at the start of the thread, cause at least i know i didnt mean it with malice.
we watch youve been framed, and laugh, and most of those clips are people having accidents.

A weekly travelcard would cost me about £36, but I work from home twice a week, price of a daily card would be £10 but if I end up going into town on the weekend, an off-peak card costs another £6 making it debatable as to whether I should just get a weekly card anyway ... rolleyes

omg your brain works like mine. lol
do you find you talk yourselfin or out of things by going in cricles?
eg: it looks like its going to be sunny, lets go beach, nah everyone will think same thing so it will be packed, but then if everyone thinks everyone is thinking that, then they wont go so it wont be packed, but what if everyone is thinking everyone will think it again so will go so it will be packed.
by the time ive made a desision its 7pm and no fooker wants to go beach

if its not a 14 year old girl, but someone pretending to be then thats really weird.
a fact i recently found out.. if ANYONE has a sexual/pornographic/ nude/ sugestive/picture of a minor ( under 18) on their phone, wether they send it or not, is is a illegal offence.
even if the picture is of the minor that they took themselves.
so if a 13 year old takes a picture of herself/himself such as above and has it on their phone and its found its an illegal offence. even if they are sendingthat pic totheir 13-14 year old friend.

call the number from a withheld number and see who answers?
if there is proper concern, then id be tempted to call the none emergancy police and report it.

ive never taken a day off sick unless i was sick, been lucky that ive only ever been ill once that ive had to take time off.
im not a lier or about to commit fraud by getting someone to give me money for something im not doing.
its not about brown nosing, or hoping it will keep me in a job,its about my inner morals and i guess knowing the impact fake sickness has on the team.
if im paying someone to do a job i expect them to do it. i expect no less of myself.

lp,
im glad im not the only one, im not one for laughing at anyone who is facing distress, but i had to turn over as i felt so guilty as i found it funny.
i mean i was sitting there watching and listening and empathising, then hed do something and id be laughing.
sorry to anyone who finds that offensive.

would any one consider car sharing for their jorney to and from work?
i practiacally couldnt as i never work the same hours or sometimes dont even go to the same place.
a selfish part of me tries to make the most out of the journey i have to do by blasting my music and forgetting about the day to come or the day just done.
i cant be arsed to be sociable if i had a passenger.

its just another cloked way in which this stupid government is pretending to be a party for the people, but in reality is fucking everyone over.
the landlords who face losing money, the claiments who find it harder to get accommodation and the kids of the vulnerable who wont manage and possibly get evicted.
x fem
ok forgive me now asi may go into rant mode...
if you are currently on state benefits, ie income suport, job seekers alowance, incapacity benefit to name a few you can also claim for housing and council tax benefit.
this has typically ben paid direct to the landlord, this ment that the landlord was more likely to accept someone on benefits if they were secured payment direct.
the other side of it is people were less likely to face eviction for non payment of rent.
now the government has decided that this benefit should be paid direct to the claiment and then it is up to them to pay it to their landlord.
now forgve me if i upset anyone, but there are many sistuation where this could be a very bad idea, couples where there is one or even both who decide not to pay their rent, rather buy drugs, drink, gamble.
there by the landlord loses income, the tenent faces eviction etc.
im not for one min saying all those in reciept of benefit will be as above, but i work hard to pay my way and my taxes, and if i am paying taxes to support those who cannot get work then i at least would like to know some ofthat money is going direct to what its intended for.
if its about the right to make the desision on how they spend that money i would lke to argue for the same right and the government trust me and empower me to pay my own taxes and national insurance, and then if i have a problem with teh government i hav ethe right to withholdpayment till its fixed.
sorry this is more a rant for the steam room maybe??
or is thsi just a ploy for the government to sort out its housing crisis by having no duty to all those who are evicted a it was intentional, there by the housing regsters show a big drop in teh long run?

or a evening with a lovely single guy who is a genuine swinger who is fun to be with, have a laugh tuned into everyones needs, clean respectfull and you dont have to put up with other guys trying their luck, or you get to the club and there are no guys there you like? plus you get a nice hotel room to spend the night in once the 3rd party has left.
priceless
lol

It wasnt something id really thought about till recently.
maybe the whole mp expenses claims got me thinking along with the 2k towards a car thing.
i have just roughly toted up the cost for me to get to work.
now just for my petrol is about £1700 a year. add to that road tax, oil, tyres, services, mots, car finance if i took on a new car.
i do need a car to get to work living in cornwall and living 30 miles from work. that trip takes me a hour a day x that over the year is 260 hours even at mim wage thats almost £1500 unpaid work related travel.
i thought that was amounting to quite alot, then i spoke to some friends who live up north and was shocked at home much a train pass costs to get to work.
how much does it cost you and do you think i could claim this on my taxable deductions????
xx fem xx
when i see this it really sickens me, what are they a comodity to be bought?
ffs are they not there to be getting some fun??
i actually think tgere is a massive lack of decent singe guys out there, and would never expect a guy to pay for the privledge of meeting me.
i wouldnt want that pressure, it takes the fun out of it.
im much the same in a pub in accepting drinks, i dont want to feel obliged to spend time with them afterwards.
if the other peopel have booked a room anyway and the play is an addition then thats for them to decide, but i would expect then that its their holiday and why should i pay for it.
if they cant accommodate then its only fair if they at least split hotel costs if you cant accommodate aswel.
xx fem xx
sorry pissed off with being told us singles should be grateful that couples invite us in to play so we should pay.
i agree with you lost,
next year my car will be 10 years old, but as they have to have a full mot etc, after getting through that and paying for that work imlikely to just hang on to the car, seems stupid to scrap it when its road worthy for another year.
anyhow, while i understand the reasoning behid this scheme to get old more pouluting cars off the road, unless there is a good finance deal i couldnt afford to buy a new car, the deal id get would eat into the £2000 just in intrest.
so im more likely to sell mine for about £1500 cash and buy second hand ( newer) with cash and try and get a better deal.
what about if i want to by a gas guzzler new car? do i still get the 2k?
why am i typing this as i cant afford the car ive got let alone a new one lol

this is a lovely thread.
my mum and dad split when i was 11, then moved hundreds and hundreds of miles apart.
i never knew either of them before this time, and it was only the last year of my dads life i got to really know him.
my stepmum died of MN in the october and my dad was ill, we though through grief, in the may he was admitted to hospital 10 days later he died of lung cancer. he had just turned 55.
i was just finishing my firt year at uni, i graduated 2 years later.
hes never seen his great grandaughter.
that was 8 years ago and still only feels like 6 months ago.
i then lost my best mate when he hung himself 4 years ago.
i miss them both so much every day. but i could never imagine the pain of losing a child.
count your blessings.
