On the way to the Scottish Munch on Saturday, one of my hold-ups was falling down!!! I had to stop a few times to hitch it up - much to the bemusement of people passing by - and Dambuster by the look on his face
. Sarah 1448 did try to shield me a couple of times (did I ask for shielding!!...lol...) - so thanks Sarah.
Anyway.........Sarah1448 said "Judy TV says that if you wet the top of the hold up, tap it to your leg, then they will stay up". I got to the munch, went to the loo (leaving Steveg to get the first drinks in ), did as Sarah had said (using tap water to wet the hod up with!!!) and Hey Presto - the hold up stayed up all night long!!!!
I was wondering why one hold up only was falling down - I had thought that perhaps "Stephanie" had been trying it on and perhaps stretched it a bit - her legs are bigger than mine (bitch, bitch.....lol...)

Myself and Corrie are booked in for a long weekend at a Pontins site in Suffolk. We are going from Friday 24 June till Monday 27 June - cost for twin bed room with half board is £129 (free bed linen with that you know lol.....)

Lots of you who know me, will know that I have been working 7 days a week (in 2 jobs) for over 2 years now. I have had to turn down invites to parties, go home early from munches etc etc - not much fun I can tell you. :cry:
However, I am happy to say that I have now finally handed in my notice at my weekend work and can begin to live a normal life again (whatever normal is!!) So.....I look forward to seeing a bit more of some of you very soon :happy: :happy:

The London Munch will be held on Saturday 17th Septemberat a fairly central location and will be exclusively for Swinging Heaven members only. It will be held in a pub in SE1 and the landlord has agreed that the munch will be a private function and that only his staff and the munchers will be allowed in. He is also going to apply for a bar extension until 1am.
I have decided to book the resident DJ (it's safer) and this will obviously incur a cost – probably around £2 per person- which we'll finalise and collect on the night.
The munch will be optional Fancy Dress and the theme for the night will be The 70's. So dig out your flares, your platform shoes, your Bay City Rollers scarves and your afro wigs and boogey on down to SE 1 for the capital munch.
The pub can hold a maximum of 150 people so there will have to be a limit to the number of people that can attend.
All Swinging Heaven members are welcome to come along but you must be actively using the site to be invited.
Steveg_nw and myself will be putting the guest list together and we’ll keep you all updated on those attending. If the guest list reaches more than 150 then we’ll keep a reserve list in case anyone drops out nearer the time.

The pub would be made available just for us but they are asking if we can guarantee that the bar would take a minimum amount of £1,500 that night - this will cover them closing the pub to others and for staff etc.
If a number of us attended then I think this amount would be easily acheived - but if there is not much interest or people dont turn up then this wont be so easy.
I will put some effort into organising this so that it is a good night out for all. Can you therefore let me know if you are interested in me organising this. Its difficult to find a good pub in London on a Saturday night that we could have just for us, which is why this one would be ideal.

Hey Tattty - I have thought and thought about this :undecided: and have now decided!!! Yes I will come along BUT !!!!! I have to get a train back to London that night as am at work at 7am on Saturday
