Also... on the radio this morning they said that you should clear the snow off the roof of your car as well. £60 fine and 3 points if you haven't and you get caught! I didn't know that.

There is no specific law about snow on your roof but I think they use a round about one where if the snow and ice falls off and hits a pedestrian or another vehicle user and obscures their vision.............or summat like that. There may be someone who actually knows what they are talking about can clear this up lol

Interesting first post, Fouru! :welcome: to the forums!

It does say post count 1 but I've been on here for ages so my earlier stuff probably got lost.
Just wanted to dispel the Wogan myth that the eastern Europeans are the worst cross voting group.

It to me is total rubbish at it's European worst.
It is obviously fixed as Norway always give Denmark maximum points etc........
It is also a deliberate knock at the Brits, hence we now never come anywhere.
The voting is a farce but good entertainment as we always know where certain countries votes are going to go. . . . . . .

Boring old fart that I am, I log all the scores and, surprise! surprise! the most blatant cross voting over the past decade is the UK and Ireland.
You would expect some of the other groups of countries to cross vote. For example the Scandinavian countries all watch each others TV; indeed there are some common channels.
Likewise with the Balkan states (formerly Yugoslavia).
This year was one of the most open competitions by comparison with the least cross voting.
