You might notice that I have cut and pasted this response from one I have just written regarding the barbeque this weekend , save there is slightly more chance thata I can attend this one.... read on :D
I would love the opportunity to meet all the North East members, I have only lived up her for 6 months or so - so its a great chance to get to know some of the people I have talked to in chat.
There is a possibility that I may be back over in North Wales that weekend seeing my children, but if I can make it I would love to be there.
Can you please include me, and accept my apologies if I have to duck out? KIds always come first I'm afraid

As a way of introducing myself to the North East, I am planning to have a abit of a get together this Friday at my place. I know its short notice, but if you can make it and have some SH history to reassure me that you wont pinch the family silver (!) you are welcome to drop by.
Will probably start at about eightish, I will get some drink in and maybe cook a apan of chilli or something similarly easy.....
I intend for this to be a purely social do just so we can all meet up and have a relaxing evening either getting to know each other or reacquainting for those of you who laready know each other.
Drop me a post if you can attend this friday. Location is close to Bishop Auckland - precise address will be given by PM to those who will be attending.

I have to agree with happyful two - it is really haard for single guys - we post messages and wait for a response, find we have one, only to see that it is no help at all. I got sick of posting in the end, for fear of being ripped to pieces by the couples.

I find myself at home tonight for the first time in ages - always away with work.
The weather is glorious, the lanes are empty and I have yet to "christen" my convertible - anyone like to help?
I am a 44 year old single guy (young in mind and body), who has been a member of this site for over a year now, although I have fairly recently moved up to the North East. My previous location was very active for swinging, but I have to say things seem slow up here. So prove me wrong, drop me a reply, and lets see where it takes us.

Not being funny but if its just a social meet, why only couples and fems? Do you think single guys are incapable of socialising and making new friends without getting their nobs out and chasing people around your garden?
I know there are some real strange people that frequent this website, but equally there are some good sorts too. Its your perogative who you invite to your party, especially as people will be invited into your hiome, but I get tired of seeing total bans on single males. We are treated as the new lepers.
From a sexual point of view if couples only want to play with couples thats fine, everyone should respect others wishes and not cross boundaries, but beer and hot dogs?
Enough said, despite my feelings on tjhe subject, I hope you all have a blast.

OK Folks - I am known in the North West , but that brings me no favours when moving to the North East, so here goes.......
As a baptism of fire to you NorthEasterners, I have decided to open my house for a quiet?? get together.
I have my children at the weekend so it will be any night from Monday to Thursday. When responding state your preference. I am hoping to get this going in the next 3 weeks.
I will do my best to vet all candidates, but if someone here has more experience of the local folks then I will welcome the help - this is my home after all
I have plenty of room , all I need is you people!!
I am not expecting it to be a riot, just a good opportunity for everyone to get to know each other.

Ermmmm - king size bed plus pull out sofa bed - I guess the room will accomodate anywhere between 2 or 6 people ;)

All the publicised places are no good, so the way ahead must be to arrange prior and keep it private between trusted people.
I am considering having a get together soon if anyone is interested at my place. Mods, I know this is the dogging forum, but the meeting would be for us to discuss future locations and for people to get to know each other prior to lone night meets - seems a safe way to go.
If anyone would be interested drop me a note.

Can anyone get me out of this feeling of being in Limbo??
After a great SH social life in the North West, I left Cupids, Chams and Partners (and all of the lovely friends I had there) , to move to Bishop Auckland. I have been here 3 months now, and I can't seem to get into the scene around here.
There MUST be loads going on, every road in my area has a picnic site perfect for playing, and I have seen quite a few cars mooching about. I suppose we could do with a good club opening up somewhere.
So come on all you North Easters - throw me an invite sometime, I don't bite. If anyone wants to get in touch to meet socially and just chat and have a drink about things in general then drop me a mail.

Hi All,
after looking on here for posts in the North Wales area for aaaaages, I decided it might be easier to just write my own.
I have been to a well known spot on the beach a number of times, but it always seems to be full of single men, and I have yet to see a female or couple there.
Also, every time I arrive there, I get the normal situation of every car doing a drive by and shining their lights at me to see if I am a couple... I guess thats why no one goes there! They must wreck their tyres on the shingle going up and down the beach all night.
Can anyone either :
a) PM me with a place where responsible people go?
b) PM me with offers (some hope)!!
c) give me some pointers of how I can become more involved?
I apologise if this looks like a list of requirements, but if we are to be responsible in our chosen activity, we may as well set out our position from the off...
In that vein, I should let people know who I am.....
I am a 40ish bloke, who has worn quite well - no spare fat, all my own hair and teeth etc. I have had lots of fun in the North West and Midlands clubs, and have attended a few SH meets in the past. I guess you would most likely bump into me in Cupids, but I am hoping to change that through this post!
As far as dogging goes, I don't have a shopping list - I am looking for anything that is fun and causes no harm to me or others. If that means watching then thats fine - if it means much more, then obviously thats fine too!
