Hi,
We have been going to Gran Canaria for the past 15 years so know the island pretty well by now
There are several places to go firstly during the day there is the nude beach ( Kiosk 4 maspalomas beach ) the sand dunes directly behind the nude beach and also La Mirage swingers complex ( day pass fee applies )
in the evening there are several clubs in playa de ingles and at least 2 swingers meeting point bars we know of the main one being the comeback bar in the cita centre, the clubs are 2x2, fun4all, venus and tu y yo
for further info google grancanariasex & grancanariaswinger both sites have information about clubs, beach, meeting points and also contact adverts
we will be staying at La Mirage,Maspalomas arriving on febuary 15th so will say hello if we see you guys at any of the above venues

we had another thread about this but thought we would post this fresh one up as our dates are now set in stone
we are holidaying with friends ( swingers ) and we will be visiting the comeback bar and playa de ingles clubs most evenings
say hello if you will be on the island on similar dates

yes to hedo 2,
we`ve been a few times and it isn`t expensive and boring, especially considering it is super all inclusive and in the caribbean, you can easily do a week here including flights for circa a grand each and considering you don`t really need spending money after that we consider it a value for money holiday ( in our opinion anyway as we spend a similar amount on a self catering gran canaria holiday where we also go regular )
over 80% of guests return for another holiday which is the highest percentage of any caribbean resort so that should speak for itself,we know of people that have visited over 20 & 30 times, one guy hit the 100 visit milestone a few years ago and got a plaque put on a wall within the resort lol
flights we book seperately from the hotel booking, we fly from manchester to montego bay for circa £400 each return with mytravel / thomas cook
to book a room at hedo we book with either dennyp travel ( google him,a lovely fella from texas who we have met at hedo twice now and enjoyed a drink / chat with several times ) or lifestyles tours & travel ( not sure if they are still in business though although we have used them in the past with no problems )
best to check dennyp`s visitor schedule, put in the dates you wish to travel and find out if a group has booked in for that week and then book a room with either that group as they will have negotiated a group discount with superclubs ( owners of hedo ) or book with dennyp, whatever way you book the cheapest way is through a u.s travel agent
on average a room is in the region of £1100 a week ( not per person and depends on dollar exchange rate and also whether nude or prude side and garden or ocean view ) but this is super all inclusive and everything food & drink wise etc is included you will not need money while in the resort and tipping staff is forbidden ( sackable offence if they are caught accepting tips )
don`t book with superclubs ( unless they are doing a great deal, they also have a london booking office ),peng travel,a uk travel agent etc etc as they are all expensive ways of booking it and yes we have checked with them all, some quote crazy prices
superclubs will transfer you free of charge by mini bus from montego bay to the hedo resort of your choice i.e 2 or 3 it takes approx 1 hr 30 mins and sometimes involves a quick beer / toilet break half way
,it doesn`t matter who you have booked with this service is still free and the return also
if travelling to hedo 2 you can also hire a private plane to take you to negril airfield for about £40 each this is a service we have used in the past and the company is very good, they are called timair and the flight takes about 10 mins
the staff at hedo are second to none and are so friendly and try very very hard to please
hope this helps any questions drop us a mail
we will be going back many times

If you are really uncertain about La Mirage, there is a naturist complex called Magnolias Natura also in Maspalomas.

we looked into that complex a couple of years ago when booking our last gran canaria holiday but in the end we went elsewhere
something to deffo reconsider for this year and look into again especially if the la mirage gay rumours come to something
thankyou for the reminder about that resort we had forgotten about it

You must have your bloody map upside down!!! Jamaica is on the left hand side of the Great Puddle, not that bit near Europe!!!
Mutter, mutter..... no sense of direction some people............

pmsl T mate i`ve been out voted this year
our hedo trip has been dropped as no bugger seems to be going we know and also we have swinging friends going on holiday with us and they have to take their kids aswell so for obvious reasons they can`t go to hedo so we have compromised and agreed on gran canaria so we will have one week of fun on our own with no kids and one week of family time with our friends ( they are bringing our kids over for the family week ), we`ve been in gran canaria a few times before and done the swing clubs etc in playa de ingles aswell as the nude beach at maspalomas etc so know we can have a hedo style holiday there
you 2 don`t fancy popping over do you?
there`s possibly another swinging couple joining us on the kid free week at la mirage ( if we go there ???? ), friends of ours that own a swing club mailed us last night to say they are thinking of booking up for the same week so starting to look like it should be a fun week if all these plans work out that is lol
hope you are both well

we are already travelling to gran canaria ( maspalomas ) for a weeks holiday with family so we are planning to extend this holiday by a week to holiday at la mirage ( if it remains a swingers complex that is ) therefore we are not paying more in flights etc as we are already in gran canaria, just the cost of the week at la mirage to add and a taxi from the family resort to this one with our suitcases
that is why we have chosen la mirage for this time of year, also work wise we can only get certain dates to have a holiday and these dates suit us
we are considering going the last week in july
anyone going to be there?
we are supposed to be booking up for sometime in july ( discussions about this with the resort manager mandy have already taken place via email and not once has she mentioned the resort is going gay on may 1st )
therefore this thread has us a bit copncerned so much so mr H put on his inspector gadget hat last night and googled freedom bungalows maspalomas and it deffo looks like no mistake on just the thomson website but a targeted marketing campaign towards gay holidaymakers, the bungalows are advertised on several gay travel websites both here in the uk and in the likes of germany etc google for yourself to see
we have nothing against gays whatsoever and would quite happily holiday alongside them but we feel they may be more pissed off than us to find swingers in attendance on their gay exclusive holiday as that is how the bungalows are advertised,i can see this causing friction at the resort if they start to mix the clientele
anyone with first hand knowledge of exactly what is happening with this resort please let us know and put our minds at rest before we book for july, thankyou
