Warming the Bed
Hi, just been checking the Travellers' Tips stickies for info on Morocco ( there isn't any! ). One of the recurring subjects that came up was how much less "reserved" our Continental Brethren are as compared to the Good Old Hands to Ourselves Brits.
J&I go over to swing in Europe pretty often ( Acanthus in Belgium being our current fave spot ) and there is certainly a different point of view as regards initial contact.
The British rule seems to be either ask permission or wait to be invited before laying a hand on the object of your desire. The European way is to place a hand gently somewhere unthreatening (so an unwelcome grope of the boobs or genitals still merits a kick up the arse) and wait for a response. A gentle push away of the hand is the accepted way of saying, "Thanks but No thanks...". A gentle guidance of the hand toward somewhere more arousing is taken as a "Yes please :-) "
It's not a matter of the Europeans being "pushy", it's just how they do things and a gentle touch from an interested party is never viewed as intrusive.
Oh, and if any MF couples fancy a gentle touch or two we're in Agadir until Thursday :-)

... an offer to register your number with the telephone preference service! Better to do it yourself ;-) And don't forget the fax preference service while you're at it!

You bet they do!
Nothing against the peoplein UK clubs - Jan and I have met loads of nice folk in Rochdale, Manchester, Lutterworth, Scaynes Hill - but the facilities in the European clubs are out of this world compared to the "cheap and cheerful" ( meant nicely ;-) ) UK versions.
Not been to Fun4Two yet ( had this idea it was north of Amsterdam for some reason rather than between Rotterdam and Gouda ) but our favourite club, Acanthus in Belgium, seems to be every bit as good - three floors, two discos, cinema, two restaurants ( one for non smokers ) - the works. Their new club in Paris opens next week and boy are we looking forward to checking it out!
I see that F4T's owner has made a million - hmmm.... just imagine a club as good as Acanthus or Fun4Two, without the hassle of a channel crossing and where folk spoke English as their first language..... then picture the twats from the News of the World camped outside :-(
Oh well, have to make a million some other way :-)

Not sure if this belongs in this forum or the Cafe so I've ( heinously! ) cross-posted in desperation :!:
Can anybody help me out? Jan ( see our ad 268934 ) insists that certain supermarkets round our way ( South London ) are sought out on particular evenings for casual "pick-ups" eg ASDA on Wednesday, Sainsburys on Thursday, Tesco on Tuesday etc ( but she won't say which store goes with which night ;-) ! ) She heard this from a "trusted friend" who she's not prepared to name!
She insists that one night a few months ago she went to our local supermarket ( short red coat, black basque, little else ) at about 9pm on the "correct" evening, announced her intention to be picked up by placing her shopping into a hand basket in an otherwise empty shoppping trolley and within 30 minutes had been approached by three guys, all with the same "shopping basket in empty trolley" sign. She says she's seen other "provocatively dressed" ladies using the same signal in the last few months...
After a few meaningful glances had been exchanged a couple of the guys followed her from the checkouts to the corner of the car park ( dark corner! ) and, well, you know....
Is this a complete fantasy? Is it true? Does anybody know the secret timetable? PM or e-mail me please, either I've been going around with my eyes shut while I've been late night shopping or this is her best ever wind up! :-)

the guy who posted a message with the title "Dogging" in the dedicated "Dogging" forum :-)

AFAIK if you have an "old fashioned" Ni-cad or NiMh battery then it's better to let the battery run flat b4 recharging. I'm told that for newer Li Ion batteries it doesn't matter if they're recharged frequently - no need to let them run down BUT it's important NOT to let them run completely flat or overheat as they have built in circuitry that might be damaged.
Bottom line - keep Li ion batteries at least 40% charged, don't let them overheat ( they can heat up to 40 degree Celcius when they're working or overcharged ) don't buy old stock however cheap they are ( they start to deteriorate from the day of manufacture ) and keep them in the fridge ( never the freezer! )
Can't remember where I got all that information from ( last week, I must be getting old! ) but I was convinced that the guy knew his stuff.

She wouldn't have to join in ( unless she really wanted to :-) ) and you have a choice of Club Lick ( Walthamstow ) Hamshaws ( nr Gatwick ) and Blue Lagoon ( Dagenham ) to name but three...

I suggest you wander over to a Yahoo group called sexatthemovies - you'll find all the information you need there.
