Your ad says you are looking for bored housewives for daytime meets confused

So whats wrong with that? I'm just expanding my options and i'm available most daytimes which fits most criterias..... :?
are you willing to consider interested housewives?
the sex scene in "don't look back" is good. it's not really a sex scene you could get off on, but it's a great bit of cinema. and if you don't enjoy the sex you're sure to enjoy the knife wielding dwarf.

Unfortunately you don't shag - I happen to fuck lick a rabbit - so sorry hun - it just won't work!

I just want to move to a place where there are nice, open-hearted people. London is killing me. Manchester was proposed to me and I was trying to find out what the people who live there think of their city. The feedback was encouraging. I have never been as far as Manchester but I have been through the other places I mentioned. When in Yorkshire, I recall people came up to me and my husband in the street recognising us as strangers and chatted us up as they had heard from our hosts that we were coming to stay for a couple of days. Some people would look at it as curiosity, desire to gossip, etc. To me it was heart-warming and welcoming.
I am also pleased to hear Manchester is the capital of swinging smile I might get more adventurous if I move there ;)
PS: I think I confused Macclesfield for Matlock.

Tania,
I take it all back, I think you should move North. people are definitley more chatty and it sounds like you would enjoy it. Have a think about Leeds as well - also quite a good place to live.
Personally, i prefer the cold anonymity of London, but each to their own.....

Does anyone know Macclesfield? I am trying hard to remember if it is a leafy village at some altitude with lovely stone houses but a very busy and noisy main street.
Also I saw on the map a place called Holmfirth and the name rings a bell. Was it on any television programme?

i think holmfirth is where the "hilarious" last of the summer wine was filmed (might be wrong though)
my advice would be to stay in london. sorry mancunians.

Why ?????? The request was for information and not advice. You are wise to be sorry smackbottom :smackbottom:
Where exactly is London anyway? :P wink
Judy

well, she did ask for advice about which areas to avoid. my advice would be to avoid the "area" of manchester
only joking, i quite like manchester really. apart from when i'm getting rained on or punched by thugs....
yeah, this one is too hard - more clues needed.
as a guess i'm going to say bertrand russell

there is loads of evidence to support the theory of evolution, none to support creationism.

Slight tangent but still relevant. Archaeology can prove beyond reasonable doubt that parts of the bible are true .... so why is that a reason to believe parts aren't. Archaeologists just haven't managed to find all the pieces of that jigsaw ....... archaeology is after all a science.

the bible includes a lot of historical evidence, but also a lot of bullshit.
genesis chapter 1 is bullshit

Where's the proof of Darwinism? There's at least as much 'proof' of Devine design as there is of evolution. What's the phrase, I can't remember it, something like corelation does not equal causation.
Evolution: Man came from the apes because??? we look fairly similar, we share 98% of our DNA.
Creationism: We share 40% of our DNA with bananas, if we came from apes then why are pigs more genetically similar? Why are pigs used to grow organs and not primates?
You talk of evidence and agreement, evidence only means something has happened, it does not say what caused it. What you say was caused by natural selection or evolution, I could say was caused by God's great plan. Agreement? What does that mean? People agreed that the Earth was flat, didn't make it right, it was just right in their eyes until it was disproven. I believe that Darwinism is the same, it fits your evidence and so it must be true. In time it may be disproven, but I don't believe that Darwinism will ever be proved.

Dawins theory of natural selecion has been proved countless times. Take the example I gave before about MSSA (Methacillin Sensative Staph aureus) evolving to MRSA (Methecilli Resistance Staph auureus). There are many other examples of nattural selection , especially in the relms of microbiology, unfortunatey non that I can quote off hand (and I'm far too pissed to search for any). smile
The fact that bacteria become resistant to antibiotics does not prove that the entire theory of evolution by natural selection is 'fact'. It proves no more than that bacteria adapt to their surroundings.. From that and many other observations, we can extrapolate a well-supported theory that higher organisms are likely to do similar, probably over a much longer period of time. But with respect, that is not 'proof' (IMHO :) ), despite what Richard Dawkins might have us believe. (We'd better set aside the vast area of debate about the meaning, both scientific and philosophical, of 'proof')
Don't believe (and I use the word advisedly) everything Richard Dawkins says; he may be a great evolutionary biologist, but his philosophy is pants and his theology is worse.
there is loads of evidence to support the theory of evolution, none to support creationism.
i would say that the fossil evidence alone is proof of evolution. science produces theories that can be tested. this one has been tested and has been found to be valid. it's not a "belief" in the sense that creationism is
my turn?
i did my first gig at the age of 13. died aged 32. appeared on the letterman show a few times. i disliked rick astley and george michael but liked jimmy hendrix
That would be Bob Catley (i'm afraid i only know that through internet research)

Anyone here been to any Killing Kittens parties? Thoughts?
Anyone planning on going to their xmas bash?
And before anyone here jumps on me - yes, I'm well aware of the um... "history" between KK/Emma and Fever/Dougie.

Sorry, wrong link redface
Try this
(edit coz its some way down the page I thought I'd put it in here)
Inside Ants do not have lungs. Oxygen enters through tiny holes all over the body and Carbon Dioxide leaves through the same holes. There are no blood vessels. The heart is a long tube that pumps colorless blood from the head back to the rear and then back up to the head again. The blood kind of coats the insides of the ants and is then sucked into the tube and pumped up to the head again. The nervous system of ants consists of a long nerve cord that also runs from head to rear with branches leading to the parts of the body, kind of like a human spinal cord.
good website. think i might buy meself an ant observatory after reading that.......

Green day are deserving of the praise they get because
1) Brilliant music
2)Time they've been on the scene
3)There total disregard for political correctness shite

Total misunderstand of the term (and origin) of the 'Political Correctness'. This term was invented by the 'right-wing media' to mock people of left/liberal persuasion who just happen to believe in freedom and equality for everyone regardless of their race, religion, gender, sexuality etc. As 'Green Day. seem a pretty politically aware band to me, I would say they would fall exactly into the category of people that the right-wing media would like to mock mad
well said amalthea, you're quite right. this term annoys me as well
