I know exactly where you are coming from and have often thought the same, it's good to know I'm not the only one and that I'm not strange for thinking it! I just worry too much as to what people will think of me for doing it, woul love to find a couple that were will to help explore these things but that's never going to happen lol. I have had some nice chats in the chatroom and some really friendly, sociable people in there, can't comment on the meets unfortunately as I have't had one :sad: I think I'm going to have to call it a day on the site as although it's a great sociable place on line I don't believe it's going to go any further.
I think I just don't fit in to what people are looking for which I believe is down to the domestic position I'm in, it obviously from recent threads puts a lot of people off, or it could be I'm just not good enough lol

either way I can't see the point in continuing the subscription just to have a chat as much as I have enjoyed them so will let it expire at the end of the month.

If anyone has the time to take a look at my profile for me and give some constructive criticism I would very much appreciate it. I have read many of the articles on the left with regards to advice and have followed much of the advice given by a few, thanks to those you know who you are.
The trouble is we all know first impressions count and I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression of me. Any grammatical criticism also welcome as although i'm studying towards a MEng my use of the English grammar isn't the greatest. lol

I have to agree that yes there might be a % of lazy males who are only after the quick shag for what ever reason, those types are easily spotted though surely? No profile pics, lack of information etc etc must be a give away.
The down side as has been said before it does make it hard for the genuine ones that are around and I don't blame people for being cautious. There are also the few like myself, I believe who are unsure of what is protocol. I have pics in my profile and a reasonable statement, I think? But without feed back you never know! I go into chatrooms and on cam but feel rude butting in, so watch what people are saying to get a gist of what people are like.
I don't pester people with messages or PMs as I don't want to appear rude, I can't make gatherings or clubs due to situation but I do make that perfectly clear as to not waste peoples time.
Does this make one lazy?
I feel that some including couples should maybe be a bit more welcoming even if there is no intention there as it would help some, including myself out no end. I have as of yet not met anyone or had any offers and not too sure whether it's because I'm the wrong type, profile is wrong or it's just too early. But i'm too dam polite to ask but surely it doesn't make one lazy??? wink

Well I've now been on cam a few times and have too say, yes it is a bit daunting but already spoken to a few and have to say there really are some lovely people on this forum, not only friendly but also some stunning people of all types!
Still a bit unsure whether you just butt in to conversations or wait to be spoken too but I'm sure I'll figure that one out. lol

My situation only really allows for early evening and days really but hey ho you never know what might pop up (pardon the pun). I guess I better get my ugly mug on cam then and we'll see how it goes from there.

Are the encounters/meetings generally pre-planned affairs or do people go on spur of the moment type encounters?
