A little update!
My gramps said I would be a coward if I just leave the book on the doorstep with a note :lol2:. So im gunna be all big and brave open the the door and say (which I should of just said in the first place) i'm very sorry i'm not interested in joining your bible study group and hand them back the bible study book :smug: all I need to do now is find the bluddy thing :giggle:

:welcome: to the forums. I can't really offer any advice as i've never been to a club before. Maybe you should get yourself to a few local socials and get to know a few people first before going or keep a look out for a social being held in a club as im sure it will be alot more relaxed.
Hopefully someone more helpful will be along shortly.

. I think im either gonna go down the "leave the book outside with a note route" or I will be really really brave and just tell them "sorry i've decided im not interested"!!!.

For example today whilst going about my daily business at home some Jehovahs witnesses knocked on my door, so being me and not wanting to be rude I listened to them for a few minutes before asking the question "if there is a god why is there so much suffering in the world?". Out comes their bibles so they can read me a passage from the bible about suffering!. Now im not going to knock anyone else's beliefs but I really don't think I believe in god. They were really nice people and I really didn't know how to say no thanks when they offered me home bible lessons.... They have left me with some homework, I have to read a chapter from the book “the bibles teachings” and cross reference the quotes to my bible!!!. I really don't know how I get myself into these situations I really wish I was more assertive.
They are coming back next Tuesday for my first lesson :shock: and other that not being at home how can I get more assertive between now and then so I can just say im not interested?!?!?!.

Im sure you are right, I wont go into details as it is long and complicated but after an incident with a russian lady a orginsation called SARI got involved and told me if a person persieves (sp) it as racist then it is racist!.
Felt like shite yesterday but I did the Race For Life and got soaked thanks to the thunderstorms we had.
