On my route home from work every day, there's a point where you drive up a hill and round a corner, and as you come over the rise there's a gorgeous Somersettian view of fields and villages and sheep and loveliness. I get an overwhelming feeling of 'Shit, I love my life!' every time I see that.
Awwwww. :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:
I haven't met you but that's wonderful news - everyone loves a happy couple! Congrats both of you, and may you live happily ever after.

Hi Lisa and welcome - I hope you have a great time here!
Missed this one first time round...
I think mine would be REM at Glastonbury 1999. I lost my friends in my efforts to get to the front, and suddenly found myself alone, three people back from the stage as they started 'Losing My Religion.' It was just one of those moments when you really feel like you understand why you're here. I stood with tears running down my cheeks, grinning like mad, and looked round to see that everyone around me was in the same state.... a guy behind me put his arm around me, I grabbed the hand of the woman next to me, and about twenty of us had a 'Glastonbury moment.'
Beautiful.
Shit, Vix, scary stuff - that's so weird, about an hour ago I was driving home through the fog and wondered whether you two were out in this as well!
Hugs for you both, and glad you're safely back in the warm now. Aren't the RAC lovely?
Looking forward to seeing photos of the 'butt crack' :P

Congratulations to you both - what exciting news!
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I've decided to worry about it when it happens.... I'm young, I don't want a long-term partner for a while yet. Hopefully any man I ever fall in love with will be open-minded enough to at least consider swinging. All I know is that it's looking less and less lkely that swinging is something I'll be able to give up for someone else!
Me three.
And do you find yourself looking over peoples' shoulders on the train, thinking 'ooooooh, you've gone wrong, you're going to spot that in a minute... come on, please spot it.... oh, you muppet.' ?
Welcome to the site. I hope you will join in as much as possible - not everyone here is an active swinger, so you have as much to offer the community as anyone else here. Get to know us, have a chat, and you'll find that we're actually a very friendly and accepting bunch - with those who make the effort.
I'm sure you were expecting the difficult reception that this news has had, but if you keep your promises you will win our loyalty eventually. I for one intend to stick around until it really looks like SH has irretrievably changed for the worse - and I hope that will never happen.
Good luck - I know these first few weeks will be hard work!

Great big hugs for everyone... and I just want to say, you guys are great. Whatever happens to the site, we're all still us, and that's what's important. It'll be ok.
Hugs hugs hugs,

Just had a bath, so I'm still in my dressing gown and all ready to pop into the jacuzzi... and Dawn, here's a great big bottle of vodka. Let me pour us both a glass.
<clink, clink... pour... hands one to dawn.... gulp.... ahhhhhhh.>
Anyone else want?
today was going badly anyway... the heating broke at work and it was so cold we all got sent home, which is crap because I'm temping so I only get paid for hours I work, then on the way home some arsehole of an HGV driver came screaming onto a roundabout and nearly hit me and I had to pull over and sit there shaking for five minutes.
And then this. I feel like crying. I'm going for a bath... back in a sec to check what's happening.
And.... I don't know Mark. I guess some of you do. I realise this must be a hard day for him as well.... but it would be nice to hear from him and know what his reasoning is, why he decided to sell. If it's anything other than money.
