I hate to be a party pooper guys, but can I point out a couple of important things:
- First, the "tonight" when this couple were looking to meet was Feb LAST year, so telling them that you're free tonight is not likely to help...
- And secondly, they are no longer members of the site (as you can tell by the greyed out border round their avatar), so they won't see your messages anyhow.

I agree with others.
I live in Manchester (as you might guess from the name... lol

), and the best venues are slightly out of the city centre - for the reasons already listed.
Please don't be put off by your experience of Xanadu. I went there a few times about 10 years ago, but it was dire, and as soon as I discovered the better venues I never went back.
My personal favourite is Cupids, where I've been a member now for over 12 years. The club is under new management too, and is being done up - very nicely, I may add.
I suggest you read the club reviews on this site (the clubs' own web pages as well as SH member reviews) and decide which one sounds best for you. Then give them a ring and ask the staff what's a good night (and a good time) to go, so they can show you round & talk you through what goes on, the do's and the don'ts.
I really hope you DO dip your toes back in the scene - it would be a terrible shame to be put off by one (typically awful) visit to a very sleazy club.

As with everyone else - definitive answer depends on the date. So why don't you *suggest* a date and then see how many of us would be OK to commit to that?

Is there a particular reason why you need to find other people who were there when you were?
(But at least it's not as bad as the trip you made to a club where you were looking for others who'd been there about 8 years later.... lol

I would recommend Cupids - there's always a good mix of couple & singles and the friendly staff will be pleased to show you round. Very relaxed atmosphere, (but can get very horny as well, when the fun starts, of course wink

)
I've been going there for over 12 years now - it went a bit quiet a few years back, but is now under new & improved management, and is being "done up" a bit, which makes it a nicer venue.
Sauna, jaccuzzi, plenty of rooms, even a car for indoor dogging(!!) and lots of fun to be had. I've tried other clubs but I always end up back in Cupids...
Sadly I'm away this weekend so can't offer to show you round, but if you wanted a "host" to show you the ropes sometime (if you don't make it yourself this weekend) just let me know.
Also happy to meet up first with you for a coffee or a glass of wine sometime if you've not been to one of these clubs before & would like to know how it all works...

Chams will be fine for you, I'm sure. And no pressure to play unless you want to. It's a great club.
If you've not been before I suggest you give them a ring beforehand & ask what info you need to bring with you (in terms of ID, etc) and what's the best time for them so they can show you round.
The place is a bit of a rabbit warren though, so you'll still get lost!! lol

I rarely go on a Saturday, but I'm sure it will be a great fun night - for watching or for joining in. Just remember that if anyone tries it on, or you get a wandering hand, you just need a simple "not just now - maybe later" and they will back off straight away, but you won't even get that unless you're in the thick of the audience for something, i would guess.

I've been a few times on a Sunday and it can be a pretty good night. Always a few couple in and always something going on.
I'm going to be there this eveing - from about or so. Say "Hi" if you see me! I know you're not looking for single guys, but if you're playing with other people I'd be more than happy to watch quietly!! lol
