Try (assuming Internet Explorer) Tools, Internet options, Delete cookies (half way down the page). This should get rid of any cookies that assume you are already logged in etc. Then try again.

That was pretty much my first thought, although, probably the index rather than the cookies. Solution's the same, delete cookies.
Another thing is that you could try 'Clear SSL state' under the same dialogue box, but under the content tab.

I'm a bit wary about squeezing other peoples spots these days, but I still do it ocassionally. I think I've told this story before, but...
Once upon a time, in a dim and distant marriage, my wife was lay on the bed and told me she had a spot "Right there..." there being the bit of skin that could be called the '&' (you know it's right in the middle of C&A). Anywat, I asked her to turn over, bum up, so that the best viewing angle was presented. She turned over and lay flat on her stomach, it was HUGE! (the spot, not the stomach)
I gave it a bit of a squeeze, trying to be gentle, and she squealed in agony and recoiled. I told her that I thought I could have it done in a couple of seconds if she let me try again, then she'd feel better. She resumed the position.
I braced myself, got my fingers in the right place and squeezed, hard. She squealed again, it was a squeal that quickly turned to hysterica laughter as I made that slightly sickened "euch!" sound and she turned around to see a massive streak of puss running from the corner of my eye and down to my mouth. Yes, that's right, I was actually shot in the eye and mouth by my ex wifes boil.
I was so glad that the en-suite was so close. blink
