A bit long winded I think.
And generally in my (media lead) experience, those that choose to retain their penis do so as the change was a sexual one and not an emaotional one, so I was referring to deliberate "shemales" no doubt you find that word offensive too.
Isn't it funny that it's always those they aren't actually the type that take the offence, and isn't it funny that often it's the same members that take offence to just about anything that other members say just because it suits their ends.

A few years ago, we had an exchange student from Oz stay with us for a weekend. She was the same age as our eldest- 14- but she had a gargantuan frame- and size 12 :shock: feet!!!! My mate walked in, saw them in the hall, and said "bloody hell, I could row across the channel in one of those!" :giggle:
I felt so sorry for her- stuck in blokes shoes & trainers at her age.

As someone who once represented my country many years ago I can appreciate the work, determination and the giving up of a normal life, but I'm ambivalent about the pomp and circumstance. I partly support it in that it's a public thank you for the kids' effort, but on the other hand I revile it. It's hypocritical and two-faced. We make such a song and dance about our returning athletes yet they get fuck all support on the way to getting the skills, endurance and talent. This country is piss poor at supporting athletes yet all of a sudden when they return with lots of medals they are returning heroes.
So why aren't they heroes before they go?
