Sassy is back from hols (did ya all miss me?) and is happy to confirm that you can crash on my floor on friday night. I am currently rather ill, but fighting it and hoping to be well for the weekend, so may not be out clubbing all night with you, but will probably manage a few drinks and will sort out keys for you. Judy i'll do dinner with you if you want beforehand hun.

Unfortunately the classier element of the Manchester social scene, namely Moi, will not be ettendance for this event. :shock:
I know, I know, I'm letting you down, the whole tone of the event will be lower and much less sophisticated without me there, but I am sure I can count on my trusty sidekicks to soldier along without me there and to keep the flag of sophistacation flying! So Judy, the blue velvet please and Blue, make sure there are no holes in your stockings!
I will be thinking of you all, well you'll get a passing though, but I will be busy sunning myself in Sitges.
Oh and make sure someone updates me on the gossip afterwards.

This is the same thing as Manchester Pride (it just used to be called Mardi Gras and most still call it that)
Anyone planning to access the village from Friday through to Monday will need to buy a Pride wristband, which costs £15 (it lasts for the whole weekend and all the money go's to charity 50% to LGB charities/groups and 50% to a HIV charity) You will not be able to access the area without a band! There are a few venues outside the cordonned off area which you will be able to get too, but there are not manyof these.
Anyway, for those of you who aren't attending, you're missing one hell of a party! For those who are, here's wishing you Happy Pride!
