Peel half way down and just bite in, peeling as a go along. Has to soft and ripe tho, horrible when there still hard.
I agree, I have to cut oranges (usually into quarters my mouths too small to manage half
) there too messy to peel, the juice go's everywhere.
Apples, just eat around the middle bit then get bored and throw it away, same with pears.

Myself, Judy and Blue spotted a new restaurant in Manchester and thought we'd like to try it out, and that it would only be fair to invite the rest of you along too, so we' thought we'd organise a social around going to dinner there. So I am and hench the post! 
This will of course be a night of sophistication and glamour so dust of your posh frocks (that means Blue without holes in her stockings! :shock: only joking!) and book your carriages. (Ok what I mean is that we will actually eat and talk over dinner before we drink, and then drink some some more and dance a bit and we won't end up outside a chippy partaking of a chip supper at 2am! - thats about as posh as we get!)
Dinner will of course be followed by a few, ok then, lots, of drinks afterwards.
