Our accountant is cheap and does the job well, i wouldn't be able to do it myself so i am more than happy to pay the small amount he asks for smile

My "status" on the forums isn't an indiction on how many socials or munches i have been to though or how many people i know here smile It's simply an indication of how many messeges i have posted here :)

Yes, I understand that, however I believe it is valid to say that those who have posted a lot of messages, have been around a longish time in order to do so, and it is likely therefor that they 'know their way around', unlike a newbie. That was the point I was hoping to make.
Ok but i dont think how many messeges i have made helps me in any way with meeting or going to socials as they are very different things :)
i still feel like a newbie anyway, i dont know any of the other people here who post on threads nor have i met any of them as far as i know ... probably the best way to get into swinging is simply to meet people and have sex, posting on forums isnt any help with that !
Good luck :)

I've worked there for over 12 years smile
Yes it may be like that in some colleges but not where i work, their funding for themselves and their children stops if they don't turn up for college ... my gripe though is that they get the funding in the first place ... why should they get their studies and their childcare paid for here if they don't, never have and never will work here ? It hasn't altered much since the government changed although funding in general has changed.
That maybe the case on some places but not where i work, it is strictly checked on and if they don't turn up for college they dont get funding for themselves or their children.
Not every person coming to this country contributes more than they take out .... some adults come here to study, some pay for it but others get finacial help from the UK to pay for their studies, if they have children they then get subsidised child care too, they basically pay less than the full price for child care and its the UK that pays the rest, the fincial help they get comes from the same pot of money that all UK residents get help from ... they then go back to their home country ... they havnt contributed anything at all fincially here other than living costs but they have had cheap education and almost free child care .... personally i'm not happy about that as it means there is less money for UK residents to get help with their studies and child care fees !

You come across to me as someone with an axe to grind against the RSPCA and someone who is very much prepared to fight against the hunting ban and for the pro-hunt movement.

I doubt you could say the same of me but I too am appalled at the actions of the RSPCA in what I see as a misuse of funds (to the extent that I would never consider putting any money in their collecting tins) and, as for the hunting ban, I too am pro hunt but have never ridden with one or taken part in their activities.
The fact is that the countryside needs to be managed, it doesn't look after itself. Turn all green areas in the UK over to concrete if you like (seems some do) but that's not going to resolve anything. There have already been cases of foxes taking babies out of their cot and they are becoming a real nuisance in urban areas because of a lack of control.
The countryside should be managed by country folk who have centuries of experience handed down, not by city dwellers who think that foxes are really lovely cuddly 'basil brush' characters and that fallen sparrows should be picked up and taken indoors and fed bread and milk. And don't start me me on the subject of feral cats!
You really wouldn't like me (as if you did already!) if I told you my real feelings about them!
City dwellers should restrict themselves to the subject of rubbish collection and potholes and leave the management of the countryside to those who know what they are doing and how to do it.
Not all city dwellers know nothing about the countryside !
I went to many socials and munches (from here and other sites) in my first few years here, never much liked them to be honest as i'm not a sociable person so found them generally a trial. Then i met my fella and we went to them simply because there were a place we could go to and be together (we didn't live together then), we rarely spoke to anyone else except to tell them we weren't looking for anyone to play with after the social/munch ! Then we moved in together and didn't need to use socials or munches to be together and although we did go to some for a while after we started living together we found them boring in general so stopped going as we far prefered to stay home or go Chams, we did carry on going to Chams socials for a while but stopped that now too ! Money isn't the reason we have stopped going to them at all as we still frequently spend money on hotels, drinks, food, petrol etc when we go to gigs and sports events.

If that is the case GnV, then that is why they could exclude banned members from attending a Sh event. Other than that there in no way that I can see how they can or could exclude anyone.

The actual place the munch was held at was suposed to be kept secret so only people on the list would know where it was, banned members wouldn't be allowed on the list so shouldn't know where it was being held. In theory anyway smile
I far prefered swinging in a club rather than someones house, there is usually more choice for a start and if i don't like whoever i'm chatting to then i can wander off smile not that i do any swinging nowadays but clubs were my choice in the past.

We've been members for almost 4 years now. No where near as long as many of the regular forumites but long enough to rack up a fair few posts. I have to admit that even after over 3000 posts I still don't feel like a regular.
When I started using the forum there where the cafe, CA and JFF forums. I personally thought that worked well. You would get regulars and new posters in each and some people who dipped in and out of each. I rarely used the CA forum as it was constantly full of heated debates, arguments and quite a lot of bickering and quite personal comments. That's not what I go into a forum for. JFF and the cafe were much friendlier and inviting. You could have a laugh, a flirt and lots of friendly banter. In short, people were made to feel welcome. When the cafe and JFF merged, in my opinion, that's when the friendliness stopped. There were so many threads complaining about other threads and 'dullard' threads that people just stopped posting as much in the cafe .... About anything! Of course the heated threads in the CA continued.
With the recent restructure, all of the heat from the CA is now in the 'fancy a chat' forum. I honestly don't blame people for not posting. Especially those new to the forum. It is so uninviting, unfriendly and full of personal comments.
I check the forum every day but rarely post. The bitchiness is something that I personally don't want to get involved in. In my opinion, while people display such aggressive and personal behaviour the forum will continue to struggle.

Well i have been here a while (2005) and although there is maybe less movement in the forums it is still the same as it was always .... some interesting people and some boring rude people who are up their own arses and who drive most others way if they ever dare to read/post in the forums lol, well thats my opinion anyway smile
I tend to read the forums occasionally but like most of my friends here, i rarely post here but i do post on other sites, both swinging and other interests as i find the other sites users less aggresive nd more interesting.
It's a shame as there are some lovely interesting people here but most of them avoid the forums like the plague !!
Had a light smattering of snow here first thing but it's gone now, however it's forecast to start again later and heavy snow falls forecast over the next few days !
I can only answer for myself .... i used to have a reasonably well filled out profile but still got endless emails, chat and whispers from people who clearly hadn't read my profile and who then got all mardy when i told them they weren't what i was looking for, they sometimes then got even more mardy and often abusive when i suggested they read profiles first. So i took most the info off as it was clearly pointless putting it there smile
As for answering emails ... i usually did answer them but if the reply isn't to the liking of the emailer i then often got abusive emails so often i don't bother to reply sad
As i said already, this is only my experience.
Good luck xx
I haave a Kindle but i will give it a miss .... i can manage my own life lol
I think they are waste of time and effort and mean nothing anyway, i say scrap them.
In the books Jack frequently takes showers, at least one a day and although he doesn't have spare clothes it does often say that he washes them at night and drys them, it never says he in unclean or smelly or looks like a tramp, it does sometimes say hes not the best dressed but nothing about him looking crap and dirty smile (except after fighting etc) TC hair was cut short rather than that awful floppy hair style he usually has so that was more suited to playing JR too.
TC wasn't the actor i would chose to play JR but i thought he was very good and i really enjoyed the film and so did the many other people in the cinema (judging by their comments at the end of the film) so i am pleased i went to see it :. I love the Mission Impossible films with TC in especially the last one :)
I would have chosen Daniel Craig, but he would have to work on his accent :)
I supose i am fairly easy to please regarding films though and i love going to the cinema, only ever go to watch thrillers, police films or some sci fi, men films rather than chick flicks which i hate lol

Has anyone been to see the film yet ? We are going tomorrow smile

Make sure to tell us if it`s any good despite Tom !! lol
It's excellent and although TC don't look like i would expect Reacher to look, he is actually very good :)

now lets read that again....the Syrian Government says the rebels have used chemical gas !!!! Well they would wouldn't they,... when it seems satalite evidence is pointing towards them stocking piling certain weapons, that surprise surprise, look like chemical weapons.
The syrian government has without mercy killed innocent civilians. They have repeatedly driven through areas raising it the ground, killing anyone they see.....including women and children.
I am sure the rebels are not all innocent, but compared to the Syrian governement and its forces, they look bloody angelic !!!

We went Tesco today at about and it was fine, no big crowds in the isles and no queue at the till smile
We had a lovely Saturday, we sorted out my dress for our special day, got the invites to send out and did a little bit of shopping then went footy, sadly our team lost but we still enjoyed the game, then went to see a friends new house then home and bed smile
Today we battle at the supermarket !
I am happy that any money i donate to the RSPCA is used in this way.

My workplace nor any future workplace can find me on FB as i am hidden from searches

Unless the employer now or in the future is the MoD, Home Office (or any department of it, i.e police, Prison service, Border Agency etc), the NHS, The Foreign Office, SERCO, Virgin, BAE, Westlands or any of the other public or private entity that is allowed to check your social media regardless of your settings.
They can also check what you have done on ebay!
Well thankfully i don't work for any of them nor am i likely too lol
Checking what i've done on ebay will be pointless for them too as i don't use it, never have and probably never will !
However i don't have anything to hide anyway, i don't do anything illegal nor anything that would impact on my job in anyway let alone in a bad way smile
While at work we aren't allowed to log into FB via the works computers either during our working day or our unpaid breaks however many staff use their phones during their breaks to check FB, generally i just my 30 mins to eat a sandwhich and chill untill i go back into the fray lol
