Hi, I do loads in Dreamweaver, so fire your questions away.
Not sure what you have in mind though with what you call a "Tab Link"
What level of expertise are you at with web page design?
What version of Dreamweaver do you have?
I think that a visit to a web site that explains the Sec Offences Act 2004 (I think) is needed. You'l find that terms like "Indecent Exposure" etc have now all been superceded. From my reading of the relevant parts of the Act, the "exposure" of your "bits" is only an offence if you do it knowing that it may cause offence, or may be seen by minors.
And yes I've been stopped by the Plod, and lets face it they have jobs to do as well as has been said. Once I got a full "Stop and Search", on the grounds that if they didn't have enough white guys "stopped", then the Police may be accused of "institutional racism", and I was a soft target to them. The next time I was given a warning about the prevelance of "gay activity" on the car park, so I reached for a notepad and pen, told the copper that I was from Gay Times, and asked him to elaborate on the story. He quickly went away.

If anyone gives you grief over your accent / dialect, just remember, the greatest ever exponent of the English Language was William Shakespere, and he was a West Midlander.
If he were alive now, he'd be talking more like us than like anyone else in the country.

Interesting stuff here,
So on the south coast, the done thing is to get out and wander around on foot, whereas here in Birmingham, if you get out before it's obvious that you're "accepted" by a couple, it's viewed as intimidating, and couples tend to drive away. (A point to note for southerners visiting our area)
"Safe Distances" - well the "one and a half times the width of your vehicle" rule seems common here. Far enough away not to evesdrop on conversations but not so far as to look disinterested. Again, here, its up to the couple to signify when they are ready before doors open and people walk closer.
Problem is that one and a half times the width of a motorbike isn't a problem to the bikers when they park in "your" gap. They can be one and a half times "their" width away, and sod you, sort of thing.
By the sounds of it bikes lend themselves to the dogging styles in some parts of the country more than others then.

there are a few other clubs around like xrasia tho its not a 1 off lol

Very true. There is Caesars and the Atlantis to name but two. Which have a dance floor and dj
Never been to Atlantis so can't comment (hint though, met lots of people from Stoke / Staffordshire at Xtasia, so it's not attracting local support by the looks of it)
Ceasars is not a true swingers club. A "Sex Club" maybe, (subtle difference in terminology there) Ceasars seem to split the week between BDSM/Fetish and "Promoted" nights, where they get working girls in to promote the night from their MSN / groups and then get a cut of the door take according to how well they do. Obviously they then have to satisfy the "punters" that they attract to ensure "return business". Now please, if that's "swinging"...???
I recall once (some months ago) a thread about peoples attitudes towards the approach of doggers in certain types of car (4x4, vans, 3 people in a car etc)
Now slightly different...
How do you feel about pedal cyclists and motorcyclists parking their bikes up next to your car, and sitting there staring at you, waiting for you to "get on with it"?
Normally (decent) car drivers will guage a "respectable distance" to allow between themselves and a couple, so as to leave at least one coat of paint on the door (only joking lol ) but how often have I seen that this gap is just perfect for bikers to drive straight into?
Are you happy that the biker has his face hidden by wearing a helmet, or do you rather see the full body of the biker than just the head of a car driver through the window?
Thoughts? Comments?

I think that you are wrong, this is not a crap post. There does not seem to be much happening in the Cannock area at the moment. but as I have already been told - Patience is the watch word. wink

And if it was happening, the wise man from the Orange advert would recommend that you don't shout about it on here anyway.
It's about time us ordinary bloke got a fair hearing off the Politically Correct lobby.
Maybe we can be referred to as "alternatively muscular", or "non-triangularly-torsoed"???
Maybe our performance in the gyms can achive "deferred sucess" and when we can't manage to pick up that dumbell, we can at least get a certificate from our personal trainers to say that we at least tried our hardest?

Hi party man, you part of a couple or one of those 'single men' they talk about wink ?

lol Yeah - straight from the leppar colony here   redface
Saw a comparison on telly once, where they showed body types ranging from Mr Bean to Mr Universe, and all stops in between.
8 ot of 10 cats had female owners who preferred the "David Wilkie" Athlete / Swimmer look, but no more muscular than that.
Seems that public opinion here backs that up.
Just to repeat what's been said really:
a) M4M doesn't generally happen in swingers clubs, outside of specialist Bi-nights
b) Xtasia IS different. It adopts a different approach from other clubs, suits a lot of people (next Sat is a 250 couple sell-out) and doesn't suit others. Make your own mind up.
c) Not sure if you are looking FOR or AVOIDING bi-male activity. If you are avoiding it, you don't have a worry. If you are looking for it, then Chameleons on a Monday, or Xtasia on a Wednesday are the bi-friendly nights.
d) There is a bi area at xtasia, within the couples only area, but it's seldom used. The whole of the upstairs loft area is devoted to bi activity on Wed nights though.
e) Come and say hello if you go on Fri. I don't bite (hard lol) ;-)
Hope that this helps.

I don't think that Utopia is a real "Swingers Club" anyway.
It has "working girls" employed by the club on all but couples-only nights, to keep the single guys "happy". So call it a "sex club" maybe, but I think it's mis-using the word "swingers" to use it in the description of this club.
Not my bag I'm afraid. I prefer to play with someone as their friend, not their "punter".
The only daily daytime swingers venue anywhere in the UK that I know of is Chameleons in the West Midlands, so sorry, but I think you are out of luck there.

Hi again, i told you i'd be asking questions......
For those who frequent the clubs in the Midlands area, Is x-tasia the best one to go for? any other you can recommend? I am part of a couple, and we are looking for a night where single men are invited.

Ok, here's a naive question from an armchair (so far) swinger: where are these clubs in the East Midlands? I don't suppose there's one in Nottingham....? A guy can but hope.
Mr LIcks
Sorry chap, but the news is bad. Nothing heard of in the Notts Derby's part of the E. Mids since a horny porny sex cinema in Nottingham closed down.
Leicester has the G-Spot club. I'f you've got money to burn and time to waste, by all means give it a try. I went once and got a 2-for-1 deal...it was my first time and my last time. And all the people that I talk to about the place say it hasn't improved since. Check out the Clubs & Parties page. the reviews are all about a year old in there, but not much will have changed.
Other than that, you face the trip doen the M42 to the West Mids, up the M1 to Sheffield (la Chambre), or the other way down the M1 to Luton (for Arousals) or to Essex .

In my opinion Xans definately isn't the best place to go. Try Partners in Bury, Cupids in Swinton, or even Adam and Eves in Eccles (if you prefer the smaller club). smile
Welcome to the forum btw lol

Adam & Eve's??? Is that place still going? It was my first ever club, oodles of years ago when there was nothing in the W Mids, and a trip up the motorway was the only option. Mind you, my memories of my last visit was that it was very sleazy to say the least, kind of a "wipe your feet on the way out" kind of place.
I hear good things about Liasons though. Any truth in these rumours?
Is "Club Manchester" still open?
Also there are 2 clubs in Blackpool which some Northerners may be interested in - Passion and Infusion. Been to Passion, and quite liked it (may have something to do with the fact that I struck lucky on a couple of occasions lol) but not been since Infusion opened up for busiiness.
Another one to add to the list here. And to all us lot from 'round these parts..
Owamya all?
Chameleona and Xtasia are both first rate clubs IMHO.
But to compare and say that one is better than the other is like saying that pineapples are tastier than mangos. Both are set out totally differently, offering a different mix of facilities and perhaps even cater for different generatons. That said, if you try both out, I'll bet you that you'll meet people at the second club that you go to that you first met at the first club you visited.
Whilst the managements of both clubs get on well with each other (and visit each others clubs on their days off) you do find that some people are rather "tribal" in their favouratism, wanting everyone to know who and why "their" club is best and why the other clubs are rubbish (I thought that sort of thing was exclusive to football clubs, but I have been proven wrong lol), but equally you get the people who will be regulars at one of the clubs on some nights of the week , and spend the other nighes at the other club.
Just my own observations, and others may disagree, but the disco / nightclub theme of Xtasia makes it more suitable and attractive to the 20's - mid 30's swingers (which doesn't prevent the young at heart 40+ year old's enjoying it as well), whereas the age-range in Chameleons tends to be on average 10 years older, perhaps because they have "grown out" of disco / nightclubs. Xtasia is perfect if you want to show-off, as all areas are visible to all. Nowhere to lock yourselves away in private (the Days Hotel is next door for that sort of thing)
Chameleons seems to have a big focus on the Jacuzzi, which usually attracts more people than it can accommodate (a second one is rumoured to be in the pipeline) and also it has lockable rooms. Unfortunately this tends to attract a lot of "boss / secretary" types in the early evenings who see the club as a cheap alternative to hotels, and who want nothing to do with real swinging. They tend to "hog" the rooms, but there are other rooms there as well. Chameleons is perfect if you are looking for single guys to play with, as there are usualy 50-60 there every Friday night.
The other alternative not mentioned yet is Liberations (in Lutterworth). It's an upper class swingers club, offering top class facilities with a select membership (all members are interviewed for suitablility before being granted a membership) It prices-out single members, therefore with no singles-subsidy, couples have to bear the fuill cost of the clubs existance. This means a £100 membership fee, drinks at £5 a time and all other costs in proportion to this. I suspect it caters more for the London / Home Counties swingers (who are used to such prices) travelling north than Midlanders travelling south.
Of the others, you can forget about Utopia, Private Club and Ceasars. they all have "working girls" there, mixing with the "punters" and are best described as sex clubs as opposed to swingers clubs.
Also, new kids on the block is Sparx in Wolverhampton. Not been there yet, but have been told that for a converted factory unit, it's been dolled up very well. It's run by a young couple and aims for the younger end of the age range, but the word "empty" has been used by the one or two people who I've spoken to who have been.
Hope that this helps.
Hi Venus,
Can I change my "booking" please to "Partyman + Partner" as long as you can find a bit of room for a lady who I'd like to bring with me.
Just in case you are looking to balance the numbers, one couple can be added, one single guy deleted. If that's OK that is.

am a single asian male from the 8 u counted
but as u said it is hard to find us dont know why
xxxx
aza

Something to do with the "culture" I suspect. Having been on the swinging scene for a fair few years, I have only known 4 asian couples who swing along the lines that we would understand it.
One of them explained to me that the Asian way is very male dominant, and it was common to keep women locked away at home, so it would be rare indeed that Asian couples to play the swinging game in the way that "we" would understand it. I also noticed that with the ones that I got to know, everything circlred around what the man wanted. While this attitude is also to be found in people of all backgrounds, you should be ready for an Asian couple to be almost dom/sub, so obvious is the wearing of the pants by the men. This has an impact on how to approach an Asian Couple, as getting frindly with the male will be very important, as opposed to talking to both male and female as you would to a white couple. If the Asian guy likes you, you are "in", if not, forget it. Not politically correct, but that's (OK, limited maybe) experience for you. Just an observation, but it may come in useful, or it may not...see how it goes.
Here in the Birmingham area, Asian Swingers are still hard to find. We had an interesting calculation earlier, well here's another Take a start point that in the West Midlands, 25% of the population are Asian, you would expect 1 in 4 people in Xtasia, Chameleons etc to also be Asian. This is not the case.
Asians are split broadly into 3 camps, according to religeon, Moslem, Hindu and Sikh. The 4 Asian Swinging couples I have met were 2 x Hindu and 2 x Sikh. These religeons have much looser attitudes towards sex compared to Islam. Somehow with Islam's attitudes towards women, I doubt if you will stand much chance of them ever swinging. Moslem guys on the other hand seem to have free reign to play as they feel like. Hindu and Sikhs, especially 2nd and 3rd generation people that are accustomed to western ways are much more (if still scarcely) likely to be the ones that you will find on the swinging scene.
Best of luck in finding your Asian contacts, because when you strike gold, it will be a big pot of gold, as some of the Asian ladies are stunning!

private club, ceasers cassablanca (if its still going) and the cottage

Private Club in Aston - what's that place got to do with swinging? It's a bordello with employed bukkake and gangbang girls layed on for the paying punters. Ceasars is in just south of Birmingham, and seems to feature mainly hanky spanky and some bukkakes.
You mentioned Casablanca - that place died an unceremonious death on New Years Day, 2004, when the venue got buldozed and is now a brand new housing estate.
That leaves the clubs designed for actual swingers:
Xtasia - West Brom - based on a night club theme, very popular on couples nights, but starting to suffer on mixed nights
Chameleons - Darlaston - based on a Sauna Club, also very popular, but seems to become a meat market on Friday nights, with too many single guys. Also there seems to be a high average age and waistline of a lot of the couples there.
Utopia - Wheaton Aston - Also a sauna club like Chameleons, not been there myself, so cannot coment informatively any more on here.
Liberations - Lutterworth - as far to the south of the West Midlands as it gets, and is based half way between the night club and sauna themes. Very upper class with prices to match. Single guys, unless you have the disposable income of the likes of Roman Abramovic or Peter Stringfellow, don't bother, the place costs a mint.
Club Sparx - club for couples only to be open one night every fortnight in Wolverhampton. Best of luck to them, lets see how things shape up there.
I noticed that someone elses post, requesting information about porno cinema clubs was locked, and he was told to get his info from the Clubs and Parties page of this web site.
There don't seem to have been any updates to this page since last September, and I know of 2 clubs listed there (Chameleons 2 and Casablanca) which have been closed down for ages now.
Any idea when this page is scheduled to be updated so that reliable information can be obtained off it?
There's a big Swinging and Erotica Festival in Madrid over the first weekend of May. If you are passing by the city on holiday or on business, then why not pop by?
There'll be the usual sort of stuff, just like the London Erotica event, but without the British restrictions of censorship, so live stage shows will really show all!
Friends of mine in the Spanish Swingers Association are involved in its organisation, so if you need any more info, please PM me, and I'l do what I can for you.
Mods - I've not put a link to the event's web site in case it breaches "spamming rules", and the site is in Spanish anyway, but if you will allow it, I can do for the benefit of the one or two members who might be able to make use of it.
Mod Edit - here is the link:
Pope Benny 17th, a stocky sort of guy, who stutters out his English...oh and he wears a skull cap...
How long before the comedians turn the skull cap into a wooly hat and start making "Saint Diane" jokes...???
You didn't say what you were looking for or expecting to get out of a club. If you are looking for swingers clubs, then don't expect much bi-blokey action on anything other than a bi-night, and even then, unless I'm mistaken, most bi-nights are for bi/bi couples only, not for bi-blokes.
Ceasars in Barnt Green caters for lots more "non-straight" permutations, you could give them a shout, but not being a member there, I'm not sure if they do a bi-bloke night. Maybe someone here who is a Ceasars member can help out.

What have munches got to do with going to a club when they are completely different events?

Was just wondering, if you have nothing else in your neighbourhood, you are more likely to make something happen, but if meeting other swingers is handed to you on a plate (like at the clubs) does that reduce the incentive? Just a thought. Just trying to make sense of why there is so little interest in the West Mids to the possible Munch, thinking it may be because there are 3 top notch clubs which provide easy peasy alternatives that don't involve complexities such as forward-planning etc.
Was just wondering, is there an inverse relationship between the location of Swingers Clubs and the successful Munches?
Like for instance, the lack of a decent swingers club in the Scotland / Notts / Leics area and the fact that there are so many Munch threads for these areas?
With so many good quality swingers clubs in the West Mids, is it all too easy for members of SH just to go there rather than make the effort to try something new?
Folks of the NorthWest, you have clubs and Munches, what do you think?

Bombay badboy....If you think you can take it!

Need to have a word with the Politically Correct Thought Police me thinks. That name is both politically and geographically incorrect
1. Bombay was renamed Mumbai, only very recently. - Geographical Inaccuracy
2. How dare they imply that boys are bad - gender stereotyping!
3. How dare they only refer to young males? - Sexism!
4. How dare they refer to young people as "boys"? - Patronisation!
5. Who is to say what is good or what is bad??? - Value Judgements!
Surely the snack needs to be renamed with something more appropriate for the society that we live in today...like...
"Mumbai Young Person With Alternative Behavioural Tendancies" :P
Now, to write a jingle for the telly / radio adverts for it... lol
By the way, had one for lunch - delicious!!! wink

if you actually get your finger out why don't you put your name down for theses.. rather than complining about why there isn't one right on the doorstep....sean

Well, sorry I asked!
it was the "if not, why not?" statement that i actually objected to...
the reason why i asked is this.... you have been a forum member since the turn of the year.. 3 months now.. where you on before then? have you been or put your name down for any munches so far.....
it feltt like you were slighting perfectly good events that are close enough for you to go to because there hasn't been one on your doorstep....
As you say, I've been here only 3 months now, not nearly long enough to have known what went on (or why) or what didn't go on (or why they didn't) in 2004 or before. That's why I asked.
I have also read the Munches rules, which list amonst them, that "too-new" members of SH forums won't be given an invitation, which, with me being here for only a short time, has meant that I have not applied to go to one yet.
I don't have a chip on my shoulder about driving to other cities for parties, clubs, dogging etc, if the time and other things in my life so allow. I am involved in the organising of private house parties in South Wales, Blackpool, Derby, Oxford and Portsmouth, ALL a decent drive away, which kinda proves my point.
The reason I asked was simply that in the West Midlands, there are masses of people, from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, and a miriad of other towns in the area, and unlike other regions of the country, not much in the way of Munches, or history of Munches, unlike say the East Midlands, or the NorthWest.
So why is this? Are there just not the SH membership from the West Midlands to generate an interest? Was it tried before and wasn't it a success, or what? I dunno, I'm just asking...
Oh and yes, I've seen Shireen's thread, and also noticed the lack of response from anyone else in the West Midlands, where Shireen is from. Which kind of brings me back to the point above.
I once heard that the stupidest question is the one that doesn't get asked. Sometimes I wonder...
